Final interview in the Away Days series, Mark Suciu. Really stoked I finally got the chance to interview him, I reckon it turned out ok too.

I don't think anyone has ever denied that before

Suciu is the most eloquent skater ever. Good interview. Hope to see another solo part along the lines of cross continental.

No, nobody has.
I once asked a friend of mine what he thought of Puleo... he said "Can't watch him, those little arms make him look a T-Rex".
Now I think of a T-Rex every single time anybody mentions him...

This didn't go quite to plan (as you'll see if you watch!) but even though I didn't get a chance to ask most of my questions I'm still stoked with the way it turned out.

Why don't you put the question there before he starts answering it? It's pretty annoying reading the question when he's already answering it. Actually, why put it in text anyway?

Hahaha, I never really noticed the arms thing and I honestly don't have a problem with his skating (quite the opposite actually). This:
https://kingpinmag.com/longform/vivien-feil-static-iv-original-edit-josh-stewart1#CJlVjOuDiw3zko9U.97
has some great Puleo stories but for some reason I absolutely LOVE this quote;

Vivien: Josh something that must be done is a Bobby Puleo quote book. You know the last time he saw Soy (of Magenta fame) he asked him: “What are you up to, drawing leafs?” (Laughs)

FUCK :D

If I were to put the question up first & leave time for people to read it (given they are usually quite long), I'd have to add approximately 10 seconds to the edit per question. I always ask at least twelve questions, that alone would ad two minutes to any interview watching time. So that's why mate; most of the interviews are long enough anyway without having to add an extra few minutes to their run length.

And why put it in text at all? I have a Yorkshire accent that some people may struggle with understanding plus the questions I actually ask are usually much more longwinded than the text you see - often answers allow me to tweak the structure of the question to make more sense

Alright then. I just think it ruins a perfectly fine interview. I'm not the rain man. I can't read and listen at the same time and actually fully process and understand both.

Adding a few minutes in length and some of your personality (hearing your voice and the way you asked the question) would IMO be only a good thing.

Sorry Roisto, for the rest of this series at least, the format will remain - I'm pretty personality free anyway so you aren't missing anything not hearing my voice (though I do actually talk in this one, if only for a second).

Seems like a cool kid.
And I personally like the format that you currently use BlacklistedUK. Keep up the good work!
Going into to business with Vallely is the skateboarding equivalent of starting a land war in Asia, just don't.

his first language is dutch, not english.  He's drinking a beer, not mainlining heroin on camera.  i wouldn't overreact.

Didn't Dollin say he was taking him under his wing?.

Either way the whole '18' skate or die thing and the Redbull dudes are as equally cringe worthy.

I just want to see at least 10 more parts from this kid.

Just because a dude is good at skateboarding does not mean he'd be good at street league. That shit is basically geared toward someone like nyjah winning.
