I have an artist friend who taught at SVA when Neck Face was there (though did not teach him), and ran in the same circles as him, and all I know is that he absolutely hates his guts and has never had a remotely kind thing to say about him. Yeah, I wouldn't necessarily say TNT "Kostoned" himself, since Koston revealed himself to be a massive knob around the same time his skills drastically declined and started dressing like a nine year old decked out in Supreme garb. TNT was exposed as an asshole (and it's likely he's always been an asshole), but his skills were never questioned, and he really is a one-of-a-kind talent when it comes to his style and approach to both street and transition skating. I hate that I'm defending TNT, but I also hate that I can't just watch one of his video parts without thinking about what a shitheel he is.
