Thanks. I spent over 5 years looking at apartments and a lot longer saving up.

Feels good to actually own a home for once.

Do people have mortgages in Europe like we do in the US? Put 20% down, pay the rest over 30 years kind of thing...

The flat is in Edinburgh's New Town area. It was built in 1804 and is about 1900sqft in size, but a big part of the attraction was actually the ceiling height of 14ft. Scotland can be pretty gloomy in winter so that allows for bigger windows (10ft tall) and more light.

And yes, we definitely needed a mortgage to buy it. I think we put close to 40% down and I expect to be paying for it indefinitely. To be honest, I've not even set foot inside it and won't till I take a trip home in a month. I just hope I get to live in it one day.

Congrats! I've been inside a few houses in that area and they are no joke. If you put down 40% on one of those bad boys your definitely on slaps rich list ;)

This Krooked hat. So hard finding hats that sit on my head the way I like. I don't like trucker hats or 5 panels or stiff ass snapbacks or any hat with too much shape. Formless 6 panels or random thrift store hats that have lost shape over time usually have a fit I'd prefer.

Got a Dreamcast and a launch model PS3 (allows you to play PS1/2 games). The PS3 is at the right firmware for modding so now I'll be able to live my childhood all over again.

that's the best "cheap" phone out there.  you're a smart man.  hopefully you're pairing that with some sort of prepaid service like Cricket...

I told myself on my last payday (yesterday) that I was going to go this whole pay period without buying anything unnecessary. no booze, no coffee (I can make it myself), no anything I don't need. That was until I heard how awesome this album was and found a decent deal on it on eBay. It's got Steve Nesser's song from the birdhouse video and a bunch of other funk bangers.

Bought myself this wonderful novelty t-shirt. It's sure to be quite the conversation starter among all the BMX-ers who don't know how to spell "pedal".

How would you kill yourself, hypothetically? I'd hang myself while masturbating but leave a note pinned to my lapel that said "This was no accident."

Thanks. I spent over 5 years looking at apartments and a lot longer saving up.

Feels good to actually own a home for once.

Congrats!!!!

My girl and I moved into our first home this past weekend and you're not kidding, feels great.

Suicide? I don't think I have a good answer for that. Would pretending to rob a donut shop with a toy machine gun in hopes of getting blasted by the baconators as they're getting their mid morning jelly roll and cup of joe count as a reasonable suicide attempt or is that simply darwinism with hopes of getting some free breakfast?

Just ordered this to celebrate my SLAP rep busting 100! Cute shirt! Nobody kook me!

Nearly shit myself when I found the jersey.  The long sleeve t was too extravagant to pass up on.  The chest symbol says "wu-tang" and has "shaolin" underneath it.
