Musicman Sterling bass. Just bought it second hand to complement my Fender Jazz.....I'm in love!

I know they're great instruments but I always thought Musicman made the ugliest stuff. Full disclosure though, I have owned TWO Gibson Explorers and loved them, so take that into consideration when I give opinions on guitars.

I think it's different with basses... Musicman basses seem to be way more appreciated than Musicman guitars.

The Stingray especially is an icon in the bass world. I've always wanted one as my teacher had one back when I was in high school, but in the end the Sterling fits me better. that neck and that sound jesus!

Recently got this too. Well, my brother bought it but he lives with me and we're going to play it together because we're big Guilty Gear fans.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

I got one of those Moleskin books for account information and lyrics. Then, I spent a bit more for the biodegradable shit bags, and it came with a holder. The Neil Young CD was $0.49. The Levi's joggers were $15, in a Macy's clearance rack...gross-looking but I actually use these for running when it's cold. The rubber toe caps are really fucking up my small toes, but I never felt it when I tried them on or walked in them. I just blew through ~$300 and the only things I actually like are the Dylans and the AH/Volcom tee.

My girlfriend's stepdad has a Gibson Flying V, and even though I think they're kinda ridiculous looking it played like heaven.

I agree. Please don't take it personally, THRILLHO, but I think it will look like shit.

Speaking about things that look like shit, my jigsaw arrived and I finally put it to use by cutting up my big deck. The tail and nose were pretty razored so I turned the tail into a tiny little punk point and trimmed the nose. It rained a lot today, so tomorrow is the day of putting it to work. I did not lose any digits, so I'll take it as a win either way.

MJ Staples and Thunder 151's. Should I spray paint it all black?

Yes. Even the water bottle.

Arrow's double-sided cover art on their releases is great. The original theatrical poster is awesome.

Clearance rack stuff at the skate store. A Hocks t-shirt and a shirt. The t-shirt is a bit hard to describe (pictures later, if I can be assed), but it kinda looks like the Unknown Pleasures soundwave thingamajig, only in different shades of blue... there was one in national colors but it was too gaudy and shocking for me. Blue and green and yellow all over, looking like a kid playing around in MS Paint before the world cup. I'm too basic to wear that.

The shirt will definitely be dyed later, but, for now, it's white with a big a e s t h e t i c s like sunset in the back. Sunset or mountains or whatever. I like them both.

I also got a set of store-branded griptape (actually sandpaper with glue and a stencil which I should learn to make myself), and a set of Nike SB ankle socks because they're the best socks I can reliably get. Which is sad.

Always had shitty bags, so I treated myself with this rolling backpack. A skateboard fits in. Guess 120 liter will be enough.

Oh, and a Toyo 45a.

Kind of a game changer in the kitchen. For one thing, I'll never hard cook eggs in a pot ever again.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.
