Best ride I’ve seen yet.
Best ride I’ve seen.
And that’s the phenomenal part.
-
Look quasi did the 20mn skating 30mn bsides for their full length is was cool
I dont know about 5mn credits for a 4mn part
Cool skating and skits tho !
-
Hell yea that was great
Jordan's skating makes me want to skate.
I want to say because its relatable, but in more of a fantasy type way where I wish my abilities allowed me to relate to this.
+1 for Tom K guest trick in those baby blue shoes
-
The spot selection does it every time. Glad to have another part to watch right before going skating.
-
anyone know what pants he's wearing
-
this dude has a serious eye for spots
the manny ollie up the manny pad, quick gap to 5050 that bench was such a sick way to look at that spot
-
Goddamn, that's a good one, definitely going to find its way into the rotation. His fits are exactly what I would have dressed like in high school if I had access to those clothes, but not in a bad way.
EDIT: I've watched it twice more and it's definitely my favorite part of the year so far, and I'm not sure how likely that is to change. One of those parts that forces you to realize anew what an insanely cool thing skateboarding is.
-
Great actor.
Great spots.
Great tricks
Great lines.
Great fits.
Great part.
-
ahhh and just like that i've forgotten all about supreme
-
lmao i loved that shortys shirt. wtf is going on in that clip how is the board flying off something over the fence like that?
i also liked when he went into the hole.

Agreed. Mind blowing approach to that spot.
-
well that was amazing. shows how important it is to have "the eye" when it comes to skating. makes me want to drive around my town and make something skateable
-
and skateboarding is as it should be once again. 10/10
-
My next board was gonna be a Mikk Anderson Krooked board but I’m gonna have to throw a Jordan Taylor WKND deck in the cart now too
part was mad excellentl

That was awesome. Loved all the extra footage showing some of the spots
-
Came for the skating stayed for the skits. 10/10.
-
Highly impressive, nothing but praise.
-
I always forget how fucking good Jordan Taylor is. The way he skates and his spot selection is truly unique.
-
You can never tell where a Jordan Taylor clip is going and I fucking love that.
-
Gordo delivers the goods.
The lightheartedness and 'fun' in this part belies how gnarly a lot of these tricks are.
Definitely one for the regular rotation.
-
Me gusta mucho.
Any idea if/when the filmers will start capturing the whole spot again?
-
studded belts are back baby
what a great watch, will definitely be revisiting this one
-
Every clip in that was perfect, what a gem!
-
How did a nitwit like him get so tasteful?
Edit: Talk about having an eye for spots, no amount of brick rubbing and wax could make some of those spots skatable.
-
I was not expecting Type-O as soundtrack. Fitted beautifully. Skating was amazing!!
-
S HORTY S

Gordo is so fun to watch and never disappoints. Added to the rotation, par for the course for gordo.
-
I saw him at a toy machine demo in 2008, and instantly became a fan, he's hilarious and super fun to watch skate.
if only Jimi britches didn't kibosh wknd's distribution in canada, i'd love to have picked up his board.
-
Rip to all those shirt tails.
Mans got the spots, the style and the tricks.
10/10
-
I loved that part! Jordan is actually a pretty good actor too!

Trying to imagine a Stallion version of this and how much would be lost to the zoom.
Fuck that. This was awesome.

Tom K bs boardslide was ruined by zoom.

Big fan of this guy. Great style, fits, trick selection and spot selection. Honestly would like to see him somewhere better than WKND. Also huge respect for bringing the spiked belt back, haven't seen that paired with button-ups previously, but I think he pulled it off. Spiked belt x Shorty's shirt fit was also sick.

What's wrong with WKND? Seems like they let the riders do their thing and are selling well enough.

What's the story here? Been through Mehrathon for a few years at least now. I know there was that Grant getting clocked at a restaurant story, did that reverberate all the way to Canadian skate distro?

from what i remember hearing on here, it was supposed to be through supra. jimi threw a hissy fit and said if wknd went through supra fa would pull out.
-
supra merged with take 5 which was the wknd distro at the time, and from what i know jimi gave the ultimatum, lose wknd or lose us. fa/hockey kills it in canada so they pulled the plug on wknd.
i’m sure it wasn’t a huge loss for supra, but they probably would have done a lot more with wknd than mehrathon has. they (supra) do a good job at marketing their brands.
-
Can we just get a Jordan and Tom K pack of lies part?
-
amazing stuff. gordo delivers
-
Been on heavy rotation this weekend. Such a fantastic part.
Nothing quite gets me as excited about skating than somebody with a really creative approach without being gimmicky and maintaining a pretty grounded trick selection. Huge fan and maybe his best part yet.
-
That was just beautiful. Dude has unique spots, tricks, style, fashion, charisma-basically the complete package.
Like some others mentioned, I wish that the fimer(s) chilled out on the Strobeck style zooms because so much of Jordan Taylor's aesthetic is how interesting the spots are and how he navigates them in ways that are unexpected and inimitable- so I feel that sometimes the overzealous zoom reduces the ability to examine and appreciate the terrain. But whatever, I still think it's a such great part. Now I've got to go watch all his other parts.
You did it again, Gordo.

The intro was legitimately funny and the whole part was sick. Creative, entertaining skating that makes me want to go charge at some crusty shit. Good job, Jack White lookin ass.
i also liked when he went into the hole.
No need to bring your personal life into this.

Myles Willard would like a word with you.
-
Didn't really pay that much attention to him on Toy, but has been one of my favorites for the past 5 or so years since his Gordo2K Part.
NB# has probably two of the most interesting skaters around right now for spot selection in Gordo and Tom Knox.

Seeing this edit, I feel that Grant is very self-concious at this point and wants to be in the "cool guy zone" with Palace, Quasi, FA, etc. and he's not realizing that he would have a lot of potential with WKND if he stopped trying to copy everyone else.
-
After the clip I saw earlier it definitely motivated me to peep it. If this came out in one of the Digital videos back then I would be stuck on it 4 atleast 6mo. Really refreshing & so cool. Watch til' the end 4 Braydon :D

Did you know that if you looked up "cool" in the dictionary you would find a picture of Leo Romero.
-
Never a bad part from Jordan. WKND has been pretty consistent, and Tom K and Jordan on the same board company makes so much sense.
-
Just watched it again and it is my pleasure to report that this part is still Extremely Good.
-
This is such a sick part. Genuinely unique skating during a time where the cool thing is to be unique-seeming.
Most I’ve enjoyed WKND content in ages.
-
wknd skits & videos have all been outstanding.. be cool if they did a full length video like “cant stop the firm” style with skits between parts
