I think it's because I don't like Meek Mill, but that edit was just as bad as the Metallica one to me.

thanks chris ray for fucking up one of the few meek mill/rick ross/MMG songs i actually fuck with. First off shit does not fit nyjah period none of the songs did. Now if it was desarmo or someone like that and chris actually edited the song with the skating rather than just let the song ride it would've of been a lot better. How hard is it to match the landing with the beat especially with something with a easy baseline. and I'm sick of this re-edit trend fuck just put it out once and keep it pushing. All this trying to stretch out the lifespan of the footage with two raw versions and two edits of the part is just fucking ridiculous. It was ~~cool~~ok the first time preserve the legacy of the footy

I didn't even make it past the first song the first time I tried watching it.

Put it on again and to my surprise the second song he skates to the Rick Ross song we already used in iur skate video "The Dirtyshire Video" we made last year.

that's what happens when you release a part online, people forget about parts.

I actually love having a skate DVD collection, but this trend isn't going anywhere. it's fucking awful.

Felt like I was watching an all new part. That's how memorable nyjahs footy is.

Rap sucks these days the same way skateboarding sucks these days.

Hip hop turned into army rap with the target audience being gangs.

I don't know what skateboarding is turning into but it often bums me out. There was something about it around 2000 that was so perfect. All aspects of skating we're rad and I couldn't get enough. I think Fully Flared was the transition. i used to watch videos hundreds of times without getting sick of it. Now I'll watch Pretty Sweet 5 times and be over it. My favorite period in skating is gone and will never return. At least theres youtube and ebay so i can watch old good videos and 411s and can splurge on some K3s or some muskas. Yeah i know im trapped in the past, but its what made me fall in love with skateboarding and now its nostalgic. Not sure if todays skating would even spark an interest if i were a kid nowadays.

this place is a circle jerk of hate for the dude but after watching it without the metallica song i was digging the footage a lot more. it's not really my favorite kind of skating but he does an unbelievable amount of ridiculous shit in there.

i can't relate to the level of skating he is doing, so i don't watch his stuff to get hyped. no reason to be butt hurt about him though.

One thing I really dislike about this edit is that so much of it is sped up. This was a major grievance I had with Pretty Sweet as well.

In particular watch the fakie crooked grind, nollie nosegrind nollie inward heelflip line towards the beginning. It's sped up by at least 20%, which is patently absurd. You can tell by the arm movements: they are jerky as shit. No matter how fast you skate, there's still fluidity to the arm movements.

Once you begin to notice that shit, it's really hard to enjoy (if you were predisposed to enjoy it in the first place).

this was only just marginally better than the fade to black version. did they genuinely think editing to fade to black would be well received? hard to ignore the obvious attempt to get a soty.

chris ray is definitely pushing it now with these shitty edits. the fact that RED camera shit on the berrics described even half the filmers on that RED shit as 'visionary filmmakers' makes me laugh. pushing the boat out a bit there...
