I remember he had an old Pro Spotlight in TWS where he mentions his dad was a doctor who developed a test for SIDS, but there were issues getting it implemented and I was blown away that that was the case.  But then I read that in his Skateboard Mag interview and it made a lot more sense.

Elijah Berle is rad, he can rip anything with style and skates with a lot of the smaller board brand trendy kids.  In my opinion he's exactly what crailtap needs.  I've probably bought four of his boards and another two chocolate boards over the years he's been pro because of him, and many of the kids from my local park who you would expect to be riding FA or Welcome have also been buying some EB decks because they really dig his style and the new direction he's taking Chocolate in. With people on Slap always dreading the doom of Crail they sure aren't receptive to the positive changes they're making.  I may be biased because Elijah Berle is my favorite skateboarder but I really do believe he's good for Crailtap, even though his big thing is tranny he can really do some stylish raw LA street shit as well.
