Do you guys know about the "old man ollie?" a friend of mine pretty much strictly skates bowls, transition, etc. and he's like 22 and when he ollies on flat it looks really clumsy and heavy and he never really levels it out. i always give him shit saying he's got the old man ollie.

Sounds like a vert guy ollie. If they pop the tail at all, the back foot doesn't seem to stick.

360 flips is my old man trick--been doing them for 19 years. That is, when I'm not throwing lemon parties.

95...lets go to the 7 stair.

2000...lets go to the 5 stair.

08...that 2 stair school is awesome.

The older dudes at my park just skate the bowl, a lot of carving, pumping and 5-0's.  When they hit the street course they just do little ollies and carve on the banks.  Pop shuvs are their techest flatground trick.

i'd be so hyped if i could do kickflip front tails at 34 or 35. shit i'd be happy if i could do those now. i don't know if i ever done one on anything other than a quarterpipe or a curb.

I am shocked that wallrides/wallies haven't been mentioned yet.

normal bs rock & rolls where the back truck hits the coping, stalled coping combo's and rare bonelesses

proper tailslides in tranny

Fuck I need to learn Staple Guns.

I'm reletively young and have the "old man ollie". I think I was born with it.

Where do you fit, if you have no young man tricks, and only a couple of old man ones too? Fuck. Im going to concentrate on getting all the oldies dialed.

No complies, wallies, wallrides, slappies, front tails on curbs, front rocks, sweepers, disasters (on anything under 4 ft). Good ol' powerslides, front boards on ledges, Feebles on tranny... the list goes on.

I think I really need to work on my tranny skills. I have none what so ever. Ever since I was 15 my favourite dude at the skatepark has been the guy who showed up on the 8.5er with the soft yellow wheels that just 50-50, Wallied, and No Complied the shit out of everything. On his own. And then left.

Hell yeah! My old roommate is 33, and can nollie back heel big old sets, and has crazy tech shit like switch inward heel tailslides down.

But usually, anything where the foot hits the ground is an old man trick (no comply, boneless, sweeper). On tranny the straight air is out, the air to tail/disaster is in.  Styled out frontside slashes and and laybacks are also hot. Boardslides on coping with rails on your board are an old man thing too.
