i have a guy i work with who is from vancouver and is the biggest canucks fan i have ever met. If they lose tonight, im going to his place on suicide watch. no joke. he would do it.

Might be a long shot right about now... Unfortunately. Anyone just watch Bruins/Habs game 6? In my opinion those ref's favored the hell out of the Habs, might just be the hate mind-set talking though. Go Blackhawks.

Fuck this first round was awesome. Every series besides the Detroit-Phoenix series was entertaining. Every night for the past week there has been overtime, and there was four series that went the distance. I really wish hockey season would start in August and the playoffs would start t the beggining of March so I would have more motivation to pile out and watch hockey instead of enjoy spring.

I was really hoping Vancouver would pull the ultimate choke, it was pretty close, Crawford outplayed luongo tenfold. I'm bummed that that whiny bitch Burrows was the one who finally beat Crawford. But them finally beating the Blackhawks will just make future series even better. This rivalry is so entertaining. Bandwagon fans are the fucking worst, there is a ton of Canuck bandwagon fans all of a sudden here in oil country. I never understood the whole "cheer for the Canadian team" mentality.

Chicago-Vancouver was crazy. Was pulling for the Hawks just out of spite for Vancouver, but that series was a ton of fun to watch. Reffing was pretty ridiculous, I don't think it really favored either team (Gillis is a cunt), but I was glad that the CBC panel took a bit of a stand on all the non-call bullshit that was going on. Have to like free-flowing play but they let it get out of hand in game 7 especially, and then cheap calls become that much more infuriating.

I didin't mind the lack of penalties...that's always what they do..let 'em play...and then call a couple of bs calls. My theory on burrows though was that the refs were embarrassed they called the penalty shot on his obvious dive.....evened it up in OT.
