Alright, while I consider myself to be a big fan of the way timmy thomas plays goalie super aggressive and isn't afraid to leave the blue every so often, I have absolutely no fucking idea what the hell he was thinking last night 12 seconds into OT. You've got all 6'9" of Chara guarding burrows, and no one to cover your left side, so why the fuck would you come so far out of goal as to make some weakass contact and then slide another 6 feet further from goal. Until he made that final dive, he had any shot burrows was going to make blocked...but then he just had to give it that extra bit of boldness, and it cost them the game.
you couldnt pick a team with more character on their defensive line than boston, but goddamnit, when you play big on D, sometimes you lose big on D. and that sucks.
oh well. atleast they FINALLY scored on a pp.
and its not over yet. come home and win damnit.

Thomas worries me too when he comes out of the net so far. And god damn is Burrows a fag... Biting? They shouldn't have bumped Colin Campbell down he would have at least fined the dude.

Two Words. Max Pacioretty.

Campbell wouldnt have been able to review the series anyway because his son, Gregory Campbell plays on the Bruins, conflict of interest.

Burrows exploited Charas slow foot speed, Thomas was aggressive, paid for it.

I cant see Vancouver not splitting in Boston, come home leading 3-1

can't imagine all bullshit that will go on w. shanahan handling the suspensions...I don't even think it's a terrible move but the media will have a field day...how many of those guys has he played with etc....

my guess is thomas playing the way he does, chara logging that much ice time...you make dumb decisions....burrows doesn't give a shit either.. he'll try anything and sometimes it works....

Not saying it wouldn't, just pointing it out. Fans are going to have to translate that passion into dollars for a lot of years before the team really finds its legs there.

hope Hortons okay
and all the fingers thrown at burrows face were hilarious
atleast if we're gonna have to go uphill in this cup series, we've revved the engine up a bit.

Saw that game turning out that way the second Shawn Thornton stepped on the ice. Canucks got straight up bullied last night, and as their coach said, Luongo cracked. Cant wait for game 4.

I hear you, and that was always my fear to with all the talk of getting a team back.   We just sold out all of our season tickets in 17 minutes (well, they say 17 minutes, but I had friends that logged onto the site as soon as they went for sale and still didn't get in).

I have no doubt they'll sell out every game for the next 5 years.  But once the novelty wears off, we'll see what happens.   This city has changed a lot in the last 16 years since we lost the Jets.   I think/hope they interest will stick.

Now if they could only come up with a damn name already.

I was watching until it was 2-0, did some other shit and I check back and it's 6-0.

Great time to fall apart guys, in the defining game of the stanley cup finals

I'm a huge vancouver fan and yeah...in the third....I was doing the same.

Even Vancouver fans were calling for a loss last night.  We'd be happy with a split....

Not sure what they were thinking with the fingers.....you don't try to outhit boston...and you don't try to out bitch burrows.....I guess you have to at least try to keep up though....

In all fairness a lot of people were predicting a Boston win last night, just not a complete blowout.

It's funny how they gave the horton not returning for the season press release 30 minutes before Romes hearing today.
