It doesn't help with the exhaustion, but I think Hawks are a strong enough team mentally, mainly from the coaches and that core, that if they go 7, they'll be able to push those doubts aside and focus on winning round two.  I think if it goes to 7 and the Blues win, they'll carry on while still being shook up that they almost let it slip away.

Doesnt help they ran onto a red hot terasenko.

I hope chicago pulls through and I agree with you.

The hawks are def used to the grind.

Toews is a beast too. That guy wants the cup moreso than anyone in the NHL. Reminds me of Yzerman

Yep. Toews is willing to do whatever it takes to win a Cup.  Saw that last year during the Ducks series when he scored two goals in like game 5 or 6 to tie the game--one of which was from the boards at the goal line.

I get a similar feel from Ovechkin.  I think he wants the Cup so bad and although the Caps are having a great season, he's willing to shoulder everyone to get there.

Yep ovie is up there too! Guy scares the shit outta me the way he hits. Im always fearful of an injury

If the caps can get a series or two under the belt ovechkin is gonna go bonkers on the hits

You guys have to bring in the STB factor too eh?  You know......shit the bed......it's the playoffs.....you down a goal going into the third can be almost an upper hand.....same goes in a series...if the Sharks or Blues drop the next one.....oh boy...

Yeah we see that every year.

Thats  one reason to win in 4 or 5 and move on! Easier said than done though lol

Pens looked great last night. Just super hungry but I feel like if a team comes at them in the next round with more physicality it could really throw a fly in the ointment. Also can't count on Lundqvist rolling over for this next game so we'll see.

I thought the Blues had it won last night but also always kind of assume the Hawks will find a way to grind until they win. Kane's GWG was total Kane.

Thinking Caps and Stars will win their series tonight and Kings will maybe wake up and help kickstart the Sharks post-season shartfest.

I learned my lesson to not get too comfortable when it comes to my Sharks having a lead in a series for obvious reasons hoping they'll finish out this series against LA. Fingers crossed.

Kings got embarrassed they had a lead for 3 minutes the whole series! Detroit got buried too but it wasn't that ugly.

If Neuvirth keeps playing like this watch out Washington..

The kings are capable of sucking every second year.....I won't be surprised if Brown gets dealt in the next year....

As good as a coach hitch is....I think players don't always want to play for him....if he loses...he's gone for sure...

I hate the Penguins so much.  I'm going to be stressed on this.

The way Pitt just dismantled Lundqvist and stunted the Rangers' somewhat potent offense, they look bound for the cup. Granted, Washington is a much better team than NYR. But Pitt is getting stellar play throughout their lineup. Everyone from Bonino to Crosby, Sheary to Letang is tearing it up. They look unstoppable. Should be the best series this year. Whoever wins it is going to the finals. I mean they'll get either the Islanders or a banged up Lightning squad. No contest there.
I’m a ghost that everyone can see.

Great series, but really don't want the Blues to win.  Got a lot of free time now though!

Oh No I was just hinting that Detroit fans hate Chicago fans probably more than anyone since the success Chicago has had in recent years and the sense that you guys feel like you're hockey town now.

As for magic man, I think he will retire, but ive watched and admired his silky mitts, his deceptiveness, vision and overall professionalism for the last 15 years and the fact that he still has some of the best hands in the league along with the injury he came back from is a testament to how Mich of a legend he is.

I bleed black and gold myself even though management makes it tough every year

Vancouver would have something to say about that....
