So does them only posting one death blow video mean we only get one match this week? 2023 finals night confirmed….

This BATB is really fighting to be the worst one yet
[close]

Totally worth it! Two legends in their prime. What a match…..
[close]

It's guaranteed to be much more watchable than any of the ig thot bracket matches

This one aged like milk

Yeah... I think I stand by my statement... barely though

Man neither of them wanted to be there lol. They just woke up, drove there real quick, took a nap in their cars until they had to go in and get it over with

sad thing for Chris COBRA Cole is, that he will win the next battle too. He will play either Mike WHO SAID THEIR ARE RULES IN BATB V or "Ribs man".

this years BATB really starts to feel like the last OIAM, they probably won't even make it to the final if it goes on like this.

I’m just happy seeing the two of them skate and not dealing with Burberry or anyone else along that line, fucking sue me.

Anybody else feel like they were both purposely putting no effort into this because neither of them wanted to win & have to go on to round two?
Seems like Billy Marks was actually the real winner here, despite the outcome.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me.  You think you got me?

Ah, the perils of aging.
Still enjoyed that much more than 99% of all the influencer games so far though.

C’mon, I sat through all those influencers for these two not to put forth any effort. What a bust.

I DEMAND to play both of them in skate right now.
But for real, I think Bill’s hat was weighing him down at points.

At least their death blow video gave us advance warning that they were going to phone it in. Even so, this was just as bad as some of the influencer battles

I get the impression that Billy Marks was thrown into that game so that Chris would show up and not blatantly throw the game out of respect for him.

These used to be edited so much better. There are at least twice as many tricks in less time. I realize this was 7 years ago, but god damn, what a difference.

as soon as i saw chris fuck up on half cab flip, i paused, grabbed my board, went out and - with god's good grace - landed one first try. now, as far as i'm concerned, i've officialy given two-time soty, chris cole, a letter. and, yes, i know that's not how anything works.

I think someone up thread said that hitting a minimum video length helps…something on YouTube, maybe promotion or monetisation. But you’re right, the old ones are just so snappy, they feel so much more intense as a result. Rather than watching someone just glumly roll around before attempting a fakie flip.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the setup Billy was on had dust and cobwebs a couple days ago. Buried in the garage somewhere.

The best part is imaging Berra’s meltdown when he sees this match. Probably expected to finally have a good one with seasoned pros, when in reality they both have half effort in the hopes they wouldn’t have to return

This is the BATB equivalent of that episode of South Park where the boys were playing baseball against another team and both teams were trying their best to out-lose one another because none of them wanted to keep competing. So in essence, Billy actually won here by successfully losing. Better luck next game Cole.
