My art history prof from undergrad has done a lot of major writing on Yoko.  During her 70th birthday celebration he participated in a performance piece consisting of the both of them, Yoko and my teacher, entering a large bag and then getting naked.  He's committed to her artistic practice, to put it lightly.

As an artist myself I'm right there with you. Contemporary art, well largely art students are so incredibly pretentious. Chock full of pseudo intellectuals masturbating on a canvas and displaying farts in jars while other pseudo intellectuals fawn over how deep and meaningful it is. What a load of rubbish.

Have you seen the movie Art School Confidential? It sums everything up quite nicely.

Yoko is such a stain on Lennons legacy.  She was shit from the get go, and he loved her like she was the greatest thing on earth.  Ill never understand it.
