starting a business requires mostly hustle IMHO. which is the knowledge mikey is trying to share. being entitled and having access to family money is helpful but i'd take a broke person with hustle as a partner over an entitled guy with family money any day.

The thing about Mikey is that he's in a high position, managing lots of money and assets and yet is not very educated it seems. Most of the things he's saying are not expressed very well and come off weird, although there may be a point somewhere in there.
He's participating in the Wim Hof experiences, which I think are great. Overcoming difficult things is a part of the method, but he's using it completely out of context.
The method is literally used to put your body into a state of flight and anxiety (done with breathwork and ice baths), and to be able to overcome those "automatic" body responses so you have deeper control of them.
Translating that into your business deals is just evil.

Mikey gets a bad rep I honestly think he's trying to do the right thing and is just kinda dumb. Maybe he hit his head a few times getting those handrail clips back in the day. His In Bloom part is still impressive even by todays standards

When he posted the video of him and all the dudes in the ice bath, it reminded me of a cult that one of my former employees got pulled into when he was a young kid, maybe 17 or 18. Essentially, this guy got a bunch of young, impressionable kids together to pay him money for his info products that were created to teach them to be millionaires through internet marketing. At one point, the kid I knew posted a video of 20 or so young adult boys shirtless in this dude’s living room while he “taught” them about entrepreneurship. Crazy, right?
Well, here’s the thing. Pretty much everything we’ve seen from Mikey in the last 2-3 years is in line with what this guy did with his cult. Mikey’s videos on the finance and the economy are aimed at young, impressionable, and uninformed kids that think they can learn something from him about wealth. Imagine a serious investor watching one of his videos and thinking “I’m gonna give my money to the guy with the backwards hat on talking about inflation at a high school level.”
He said in the past that the best way to create cash flow is through info products. Has anyone ever texted that number on his profile? I’m assuming it’s a way for him to connect with young people that followed him as a skater and built a more direct following of individuals that he can eventually monetize to buy more storage units.

Exactly. You pay for the “knowledge” that someone else holds. The reason why we’re seeing so many coaching/motivational/entrepreneur info products pop up in the modern era is because of how easy it is for anybody with a smart phone to make a video and post it out to a social media channel hoping someone takes the bait.
These Mikey Taylor types will sell you on the fact that you’ll end up with better financial results than you would if you attended college for a fraction of the price.
