I feel like Axel "suffers" from a certain Euro affliction where being objectively ATV skilled is more important than playing to your strengths and cultivating character in your skateboarding. What I mean by that is I feel like he would probably have a higher standing in the industry if he only published stuff like the last two tricks in here, both of which are certified fucked, incredibly innovative and perfect Trick selection. The random small spot tech trickery in between slightly drags him down in my eyes, he doesn't have the looseness for it. But maybe that's just me. Eniz has a similar issue in my eyes. So did Mark Fröhlich. Sometimes less is more.
