I can see Shane losing to Koston. Hope I'm wrong, but I feel the young whippersnapper might get a little intimidated. Hard to hit those 540 spin turns when you've got the shaky legs.

If Koston gets a go and he starts doing all those pressure flips and late flips, then Shane might lose, but I am thinking over all, Shane can take Koston. All he has to do is do hardflips and all his bigspin variations.

i'm just saying it was kind of ignorant to ask what's so special about koston when i was trying to show you that he was doing things that top pros and ams would have trouble with today more than ten years ago.  just do your research before stating stupid shit.  lutzka definitely doesn't suck, but his reputation and knack for doing the same old shit got him out of this contest early.  watching his part in 411 #49 a long ass time ago, i never thought he'd be as popular as he is now, he didn't ever really stand out for me.  i don't really care who wins this time around, but i like underdogs winning shit like this.

Well menekamati came out somewhere between 98-00 and was the dopest video of the year. It was the first footage of arto anyone I knew had ever seen. And this was when, though it maybe hard to believe, és was the dopest shoe company in the game.

^^ I always think about this and how strange it is. I can remember when the video came out I went and got it and watched it every day, it came out in fall '00 if I remember right. I also bought accels religiously around that time, and yeah es was pretty much the shit back then, kind of the same deal with osiris comparing then to now, but I always liked es better. Also, the "joke tricks" section is really ironic when you watch it now, in the post fully flared world.
