I think the reason Video Days and actually World Industries Rubbish Heap are very well known videos because it spanned like many generations. people in their 40s would have grown up when video days was actually new, but people my age never would have seen video days if it weren't for it being readily available on the internet during a key time. the World Industries website hosted these videos on their site early 2000s and back then there were not a lot of good websites, so i imagine it saw a ton of traffic. most videos were really wack for example birdhouse website just had like 5 sec trick tip clips. but this was amazing to get a full length at that time. online skate video piracy was really just getting started at this time too - this was around the time most people could make the jump from dial up to cable internet. Kazaa / Limewire era was maybe 5-7 years then we got youtube. kids from the youtube era and on may still know video days cause its just so referenced now but there is so mcuh content it can be easily missed. Oh also it is featured in KIDS so that was another reason my generation kind of knew it too.
