2 was the worst of the 3 imo. new san van was wack as fuck to me but i liked the soundtrack.

im sure you could find it for cheap so it would be fun for a couple of hours.

I think 2 is the best one. But, when you're used to the physics in 3, skate 2 is a real pain in the ass to play. everything goes slower (like getting off your board) and walking off board is fucked. I like the graphic style and the city in 2 better though. many of the tricks of the tricks looks better also. they should release the maps from 1 and 2 as DLC for skate 3 btw!

That's crazy, I thought it was the best city they came up with by far.

If Skate 2 had 'hardcore mode' or whatever it would have been pretty much perfect in my eyes. I went back to it for a while over the summer and had fun with it but it kept pissing me off how high you pop out of grinds and little shit like that. A lot of the tricks definitely do look better though, it's a bit of give-and-take when you're coming from Skate 3.

I just hit my cap for saved clips in Skate 3, I was thinking of making a little edit cause I haven't done one since the first game. Problem is I don't have any other video editing programs besides iMovie and it doesn't work with flv files, can anyone recommend a converter?

my only input would be keep the filming more linear or use a tripod. some of it i couldnt figure out where the skater was going or how the landscaspe was anymore.

Ok, the camera was INCREDIBLY spastic. You're going to want to even that out.
Leave that easy or normal mode alone. Do it on hardcore. I'll add that I would pick a different style than OG. It makes all your tricks look jerkier, esp. when considering all that camera nonsense.

Also, pointandclick, the Carlsbad spot was downloaded, as was El Toro and Wallenberg.

use FREE CAM FREE CAM FREE CAM! it might not be easy at first but it will pay off big time in the end making your vids look smoother (pm me if you want some tips), also lock into your nosegrinds better, looks crappy when you catch on a 50-50 then lift into a nosegrind just like real life ya dig. and you dont have to do a 360 shove to do a proper big spin (if thats what you were going for) just do a regular shove and a 180 and it will look way better. i also think changing from the OG style setting will make your tricks look smoother too. i like OG for some tricks but it looks pretty unnatural for most. you are getting better tho, there was a few tricks that looked good and i forgot to mention i liked the ollie up gap to 5050 in your last vid.

Ahh cheers but looks like Windows only. I guess I'll probably have to look for one of those online converters like I used last time around but those are shitty and like to lock you out after a few clips.

darkslide: good stuff man, your filming is getting better and i have to say thats by far my favorite song choice you've made so far haha. i would suggest work on your switch skating tho if you want, its super fun and opens up a whole different way to play once you get it.

yea the controls are mirrored, but you can't push switch. to make it kinda lock in and not stay crouched, when you do a 180 or whatever push the joystick all the way up then bring it back down about halfway, almost like a manual and you will stay in switch but stand more straight up, then you just bring the joystick back up to crouch and do your trick. does that make sense? it works for fakie too just pull the joystick down then back to the mannualish position and you will stand straight. let me know if that helps. someone else explained it some pages back too i believe.
