it's odd to me that people react more positively to grecos videos which also focus really heavily on a vibe over perfectly captured hammers but seems like same people can't seem to appreciate bill taking a similar approach.

Hilarious. There’s always a ton of these in his videos and it’s funny to see the types of things he thinks are worth it to include with roll up cuts like a random girl walking by or something. He always tries to sync them up and they’re always easy to notice haha.
Regardless, this video was so rad.

He did it between Ben K's mall grab throwdown and the trick as well. He does it at least once every video and it's always pretty obvious.

I really missed the stationary tripod shots from the original "Candyland" dir. Todd Falcon.

Actually, this is the best skate video since his last one. He's got an eye for capturing humans in their environments. If you're looking for a term paper subject, compare and contrast the purpose and execution of Bill vs. Ty's filmmaking.

Say what you will about all the wild roll up/away/crew shots, but at the end of the day Bill is at least making a skate video.

Greco on the other hand makes neither a skate video nor a short film, the worst of both worlds if you will.

If you think these Fat Bill videos are dramatic for how it’s filmed/ edited remember Jim Greco attempted to make a shitty movie about falling trying to skate his car...
