I also need help choosing a guitar I want to buy.
I want to play surf style music but also have an acoustic type sound.
If that makes sense?
I was thinking a fender squire with out whammy bar
Or
A Yamaha acoustic guitar.

I‘m far from a specialist when it comes to guitars but I would always recommend getting something second hand and local from reverb or similar. Also I would always go with something at least semi acoustic so you can play without an amp.

adding to this, some surf bands played es-350s, so a semi-hollow would fit the bill i guess. you probably want to look for some good quality replica model since gibsons are rather pricey guitars, es-350s especially.

here's what i would buy or check out rn if i was you, op:

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/IDCOREBEAM--blackstar-idcore-beam-2x10-watt-2x3-inch-bluetooth-combo-amp

with this you can start playing guitar, dabble in surf sounds, do other stuff. of course it won't sound like your going through an old fender amp with a real spring reverb, but you can get all that stuff down the line if you keep playing and want it.

the blackstar amp is just an easy way for you to get a lot of sounds and modulation without having to shell out a ton of money for pedals. it's loud enough for not just home use, has a record out that shouldn't require a dac or interface to connect to your pc if you want to record in a daw or audacity. if you want to start playing bass this can also work as a bass amp. so it jsut has great value for money. after you upgraded from this you can still use this as bluetooth speaker for your kitchen or whatever.

sorry for double posting but if you are strapped for cash, you can order a harley benton replica from thomann.
they have lots of model and the quality is really decent if you can live with the shameless replica factor.

Check out the danelectro convertible. It’s a hollowbody electric with lipstick pickups that sounds right up your ally. You can get one for around $300. A good starter amp is a fender mustang. It’s a modular amp so there’s hundreds of different sounds you can produce with it, it’s what I use for bedroom playing. You can find one of those for like $100

Saint Coke:
Thanks frank I'll stick with the fenders I found on sweetwater. As for amps I don't have a lot of cash atm for that black core amp. I have a peavy bass amp but it's kinda hot ass.

Frank:
i second that danelectro convertible mention, that guitar is super cool and should work great even as an acoustic.
