Aha, Friday. There you are. This week, an epic collab with Rockstar and 7-11, The Berrics' authentic concrete, Cody Chapman's not-pro model shoe, and more.

It's here. Friday. This week it's a bit of a loose one. Friendship, wheels, branding, SOTY thoughts — it's all in there if you like.

Ah, the week comes to a close. Today, some SOTYing, the slow dissolution of industry and culture, a tired and lazy grift, and a genuinely uplifting video.

(P.S. Thanks as well for the kind words above. It appears my ban was a glitch that the Mods helped me fix by employing an obscure technique known as "clearing your cookies." lol on me.)

A good read, as per usual.
On the subject of aging bodies, check out Pat Duffy in last week's barcelona entry if you haven't already. He actually looks more graceful than I remember, like he finally came back from all the injuries. And this is arguably the guy who pioneered big rail skating.
I remember when virtual reality came out, joking about Duffy's odds for being able to walk past the age of 30: that was 30 years ago.

Did he also get sober or town down the partying? I remember some photos of him a few years ago looking rough as hell.

Always appreciate your reading the thing.

Just watched, and wow. He definitely does. That is a wild trick to do into that big bank for a vlog at 50.

I wondered the exact same thing, about him possibly cutting back on alcohol- not because I heard anything about it, but just because he seems so healthy.

@Simple Magic also thanks for shining a light on the whole Dyrdek thing, he must have presidential ambitions with that haircut attitude.

Unfortunately, he appears to have a severe, potentially terminal case of entrepreneur brain.
