If playing Call of Duty is a sport then I have no idea what the word "sport" even means.
Is a scrabble tournament considered a sport?
Are spelling bee and chili cookoff participants athletes?
Used to be my thought, I got into an hours long debate with my coworker over it. Apparently if it’s competitive and requires some sort of physical exertion it’s a sport.
Those boys use a pretty generous definition of "physical exertion".
A few nights ago I played Fallout for a solid 4 hours, no breaks except to pee or grab a fresh beer a couple times.
No fatigue, no cramps or sore muscles, didn't release a single drop of sweat, and virtually no chance of injury (I mean, I did drop a cigarette in my lap at one point, that could've hurt if I didn't find it fast enough).
Oh yeah, and I was smoking the whole time too.
