Maka Lassi Bridge Life documentary
« on: May 09, 2024, 03:06:50 AM »

Bridge Life doc by Thomas Taylor, John Manfredi and Pat Mclain.

Another really good inspiring doc about the Atlanta I-85 renegade diy-skatepark that got bulldozed after some random person lit a fire under the bridge close to the spot, the bridge caught in fire and collapsed and because of that the park was discovered by the authorities.

The film has a lot of footage from ATL locals from the beginnings to the bitter end. There's probably 15 minutes worth of GT ripping the spot, which is fucking nice. It also has small interviews from Thomas Taylor, Justin Brock and more.

If you need some inspiration to create your own diy-spot, check this one out.

let’s go home

I liked this one especially aesthetic dad cam (literally because Tom was one of the main filmers) footage.
The park faced a really bitter end and you can tell how devastating it was for the locals. It’s sometimes kinda funny (but not ha-ha funny) how random incidents can start chain reactions like these.
