« on: September 23, 2011, 01:48:12 PM »

tbh its whatever tk maxx has for cheap if amazon has no Szfranski 1's (best shoes ever)
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

Cupsole, black or black/white, I dont really fuck with other colors, the cheaper the better. And for skating, I try to only buy skater-owned companies, but  for other stuff, I dont really care.

1.Is it on sale OR from my local skate shop

2. Do I like how it looks
3. Will They Skate well (For me, shoes that look like they will skate how I want them to skate look good, so 2+3 are related.)

4. Can I afford it?
5. Should I afford it? (When I'm about to buy shoes I remember I have shoes that work and feel bad for being so selfish and wasting my money)

comfort>function>brand>color>durability>price
I demand a grippy sole with no rubbing seams that isn't bulky. No wacky colors or brands.

Jump down el-toro without any discomfort to my feet
      weigh less than my socks
must last at least a year
and make chicks get all wet and fuzzy

1) can't be made by Nike/Converse
2) must be vegan
3) must be synthetic leather if they're for skating (canvas ain't that durable)
4) must be cupsole
5) uppers should be on the less puffy side of things

By using this formula, I end up with a Sole Tech product 99% of the time.

As of now:
1. Under $70.
2. Black, navy, or brown colorway.
3. Simple looking.
4.Mid top.

I just noticed Vans still makes the original Half Cab which is probably my favorite shoe of theirs, so I'm definitely going to be purchasing a pair soon since I'm not a fan of the more upgraded version they did. They just don't fit right like the originals do for me.
