I'm leaving Philadelphia today to go to Portland for the week, anyone have any suggestions for anything to do out there? I'm staying with my girlfriends friends, and all I know so far is that I want to check out burnside and this biscuit place I saw on diners, drive-ins, and dives.

I was gonna move there and try to tattoo but OR has some crazy regs on starting out there as an artist. Loved skating there though and it's a beautiful place. There's a chick named Sara there who I have a crush on.
just work in vantucky. i think all washington state requires to work as a tottoo artist is a bottle of peroxide.

you guys ever see that little oriental guy that has a food cart parked in front of his house? sells like terriyake and shit.. its unbelievable. Huntin that dude down once i get there. Just picked up some 57mm's. Psyched.

i've been before... we're going to hit a few parks.. were flying into portland and driving directly to Bend for some crazy 4th of july party that involves floating down a river... but we'll be back in town on monday i think.

The hill bomb is called the Zoo Bomb. Don't do it alone. Second thought... do it alone.
Drink at Kelly's Olympian. It's the best bar in town, and the hubba that Devin Appelo 5-0's in PTT is right across the street - you can see it from inside the bar. It's super gnarly.

This thread is funny, it was bumped. I was gonna say do whatever you want, its Portland. But I'm pretty sure Mt. Hood is a good 3 hours away from Portland, or is it an hour and a half.

My best friend just moved up to Portland to go to Portland State. I'll be up there in a few months to visit him if anyone wants to shred and have a few beers.

You can skate at least part of burnside year round. Other than that parking structures and shit are good. Or you could just smoke a lot of weed until it stops raining.

I'm planning on visiting at the end of august. I was told it is easy to get around by pushing. What are the best areas to stay around if I plan on skating a lot and raging a little bit? I'm looking at couchsurfing.org for somebody to stay with but it'd be tight to have a skate tour guide.

There are strip clubs everywhere, so the only advice I have is to go to Voodoo Doughnuts in the middle of the night when you are wasted.

I think the econolodge on burnside is a pretty good call. Right up from the park, late night pizza, bars, and stripclub all a few blocks away. Short cruise to downtown.

You have to be more specific about which 15 strip clubs are a few blocks away.
