There's been so many times where I'll close a tab that was on Slap only to open a new tab where I'll go to Slap cuz I forgot that I was just on Slap.

Sometimes when I'll close out my tabs on my mobile I find I have 5 or 6 separate threads open for days at a time.

I do this so often I'm starting to worry about myself.

I used to find myself in vortexes where I check the same sites over and over again.
Portlandia - Technology Loop and "Mind-Fi" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe-zq4bFPFU#)
Anyway, I prevent this now by using a site block extension on Chrome. As soon as I find myself in the tech loop, I block myself from every site I frequent. Of course, I can unblock everything with 2 clicks, but it's all about creating an awareness.

Have you tried using Soulseek? I know it's not a site but it's pretty easy to use for finding weird and obscure shit

I've used Soulseek for at least 10 years and have honestly never downloaded something other than what I wanted (I only use it for music). You could probably get unlucky, but if you're not stupid it's generally safe.
