I agree, Roberts would make a nice addition to the Chocolate pro ranks. I'm not sure that'll happen soon as they have just bumped up Calloway and Eldridge as well we have the addition of Pop's. With York gone now they may have a board for him soon. Time to Shine could be the boost he needs.

Yes.....I would very much like to see a Chris Roberts board on the wall....in fact, I haven't ridden a Chocolate board since around '97.....I would end that streak if he gets bumped up to board status.

Wonder if his photo incentives would have gone down if he cut the heartagrams off.  Seems to me Bam's assclownery overshadows the really good guys on Adio's team same with element.  The Wray's looked alright even though they reminded me of a Lakai Soca.

The fact that they looked like Socas means there's a small chance I'd probably skate in those if I didn't have to go to Pac Sun and buy them (which is the only place that sells them in town) since I liked the Socas.  Solid team for the most part but I just never got excited about the product.

Speaking of Chris Roberts....I just watched his Hot Chocolate and Listen parts on good old youtube.....but I was wondering is anyone has his first chocolate part....I can't remember the name of the video...The Chocolate Tour?..or something....I remember a super long nosegrind and a 5-0 on a ledge off of some stairs.....it is from 1999....I think....I would really like to check that section again...I haven't seen it forever...so if anyone puts that up....I would like to say "thank you" in advance.....have a good one.

well im 21 and been skating for about 12 off and on and i really just don't like people who skate slow, when he first popped up i was like damn this dude is good but for the past 6 years plus hes been doin the same shit at painfully slow speed, and his hot choc part was a hot diaper

roberts is on the road to becoming the next Daniel Castillo. Living on the same tricks over and over again for every video part, and not progressing one bit.  Sure he might have great style, but with 5 tricks and repetetive lines, video parts it wont get you far.   Chocolate doesn't another Justin Eldridge, atleast Eldridge skates rails, which give him the smallest amount of "flare" over roberts who doesn't do shit.

i understand. rather see tricks that are a bit more 'simple' and looking the way roberts makes them look than pushing it too much and getting disgusting tech tricks. i guess people focus way too much on tricks these days. Of course, the tricks couldve been better, but there are very few people who can do em like that, which is sick imo and i think he should be pro.

You are a fool if you can't tell a difference between the old stuff and this new China garbage everyone is selling.

Honestly, kick out of a trick down something as measly as a 4 stair with a Girl deck.  I guarantee you do the same to a DLX or DNA deck, it won't even do a fraction of the damage.  You are telling me you can't see the difference when you can do something as lame as mess up a flatground tre flip and get a dent in the nose when it's nearly brand new?

That shit didn't always happen.

i've messed up plenty of tre flips on the chocolate i'm riding and there is still no dent in the nose. i've been riding girl/chocolate for years and i can't tell at all.

man, you said the first skate video you saw was modus,  you haven't been skating girl decks for 8 years.  if you had you'd notice a very big difference in the shape and wood.

1992.
