Flash Sync Canon Advice
« on: November 28, 2016, 08:21:27 AM »
Hey guys, really want to start shooting skate photos with the flash sync.
Most of the people recommend me to buy the ones made by Yongnuo.
Just looking on Amazon I'm seeing there are a lot of types of models. I remember there was one that wasn't that good in shooting daylight skate photos for the max shutter that can be used or something like that.
What flash you guys advice me? And what radio slaves?
ps: I have a Canon t5i
Thanks!

You have a lot of googling to do. The info is all there, and for daylight you want to research HSS (high speed sync) function of flashes.

i?ve been using the yongnuo yn-622 triggers with yongnuo 568 flashes for some time now, cant complain at all.
but yeah, if you get into radio controlled flashes, theres a loooot of reading, trial and error and getting pissed coming your way.

Think I will get your same set up. Do yo know the differences between the YN-622C and the YN-622C II triggers?
And I also need this? https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00MQFF6N8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3T2PXX210KPYE

la YN 622 TX ? eccellente thanks to its display, i have one TX and 4 regular 622C?s (C or N behind it just means if its the nikon or canon version).

didnt even realize that theres a second, apparently newer version out, cant give any advice about that one.

also, get Eneloop recharchable batteries.

basically, all YN622s can be both senders and receivers. the yn622TX is the "better" version thanks to its display, with more ways to adjust. i had 4 YN622s and was pretty happy, then the TX version came out, and i got that one as well. (you only need one of these though).

So I only need one YN-622C-TX for flash sync two flashes?

depends on the flash, some of the yongnuo flashes have YN622 triggers built in (i think?). i have one yn622TX to trigger, and 4 yn622 as receiver (you connect them with the flash you wanna trigger).

so, if you want to trigger 3 external flashes, you need either 4 YN622 (where one of them acts as trigger on your cam) or 1 YN622Tx on your cam and 3 YN622s on your flashes.

I purchased the 685 ones cause they have incorporated trigger. But how much does your batteries last?
