i'm pretty happy with my squad tbh. the Burrow-Higgins combo could be lethal and CMC will hopefully ball out. but u never know, it's all about the waiver wire and injuries.

Too true.

Also @PatrickSkateman I’m feeling like I may have initiated some bad karma by drafting Jalen…

You did get Jaylen tho…

That’s funny because I’m big on not naming your team after a player you don’t have.

Thought about changing the name to Oh You Would LOVE Jayl. A nod to my favorite joke from The Office.

I think my all time favorite team name creation was Turn Your Head and Goff.

Either that or Jeudy Jeudy Jeudy Jeudy Rockin Everywhere.

I dig the Jayl thing.  Arguably better than you had it.

Last year I had a team called Waiting for Goedert - then I picked up Goff through some QB injuries and rebranded as Waiting for Goffman/Goedert.  Always a better name out there…

Spectrum vs Disney

Damn this is crazy. Was watching the preshow of Florida & Utah on espn then as soon as game starts , black screen. Disney pulled all their channels espn, abc, etc due to contract disagreements. Spectrum gonna lose so much money. I’m canceling asap then gonna watch games through YouTube TV. Worst timing , football season just starting

In what rounds are you taking Travis Hunter and Dylan Edwards when they enter the league?  Those two are insanely dynamic.  Guess Travis might be out of college a year before Dylan… imagine Hunter playing both ways in the league, and earning INT points etc. to go with his WR production…  :o

I think they dropped ARod for Russ, so they might like what he’s cooking in Denver this year.

My desperate reach picks for flex and bench are already biting me with OBJ being listed as questionable. Kadarius Toney come on down...

lmao definitely not the start I wanted. The injuries are definitely a bummer, but I feel like it's going to make the waiver wire very interesting as the season progresses... I'm so pumped for tomorrow.

Such a fall from grace… he absolutely annihilated it for me in the slap league few years ago.. don’t think they have any draft capital either.

Pinche hindsight. All weekend I’ve been telling myself, “dammit should’ve taken player x…. Dammit should’ve taken player y”

I don’t have Dobbins in the overflow but I do in a league with some friends. I’m bummed he’s hurt but honestly more bummed for him in general. I know it was a big year for the guy and his future, just to blow your ACL up first game of the year

Need a bad game from Rodgers tomorrow if I’m going to squeak by with a week 1 win. Also as a long time giants fan, watching that game…I can’t handle a loss in fantasy on top of whatever that performance was 😭

I have Dobbins in Overflow.

Also got goose eggs out of London and Goedert.

Not to mention Jamarr Chase getting locked down by Denzel Ward and his band of merry elves. 😂

Rough week 1 in that league for me, although I know Goedert is likely to have a monster bounce back game.

I would need Josh Allen to go off for over 30 and the Bills kicker to have no field goals to win in that league.

12.5 from Hurts and two goose eggs from Tee Higgins and London in the Pals league. I pulled a Chiefs on Thursday night there.

Lamar Jackson gave me 6.5 points in another league.

I won in 3 out of 7 leagues so far.

Collosal meltdown by my squad.  Don’t want to overreact and overcorrect because it’s only week 1, but I may be fucked.  Hopefully we can gel moving forward.
