the BMX ones use "wafflecup" which is a cupsole that looks like & somewhat feels like vulc.  There's some additional midsole support to make them a bit stiffer I believe as well, but I think that's now similar to what's in the revamped Skate line.

Soletech catalogs are out. Vegan suede éS Quattro? Vegan suede Etnies Joslin and Marana? I’m feeling spoiled.

https://soletechnology-catalogues.cld.bz/eS-FA21-Full-Catalog

https://soletechnology-catalogues.cld.bz/etnies-FA21-Catalog

https://soletechnology-catalogues.cld.bz/Emerica-FA21-Catalog
Damn, eS coming through!  I'll def get those black canvas Eos. When you look at the overview page, 5 out of the 10 core skate models have a vegan option, that's so rad!  Some real diversity there too.
Posted this in the general thread, but looks like etnies have discontinued the Sheep sub-branding.  That's a bummer.
Emerica options are pretty pathetic...two options that are essentially the same shoe: a camo canvas vulc.  And some chillers.  Gee thanks!

Looks like eS will be getting all my money in the foreseeable future, straight heat on those Quattros!

Why oh why can’t emerica do just one vegan cupsole? Also, how can they call a shoe the temple and it not be related to Ed?

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

lots of good options by es and etnies, but the emerica offering sucks ass. i wanted to get gammas originally but i'll probably never buy them since i've decided i'm done with leather shoes.

wish these and the nb# 1010s came in basic color vegan options.

I’m a big fan of Emerica, their image, team and their product; but they gotta step it up in the synth game. It’s starting to become obvious that the vegan shoe market is past the “canvas vulc is our only offering” phase.

Brands like Etnies and éS are blazing that trail. I’m excited to try those Maranas; always thought it was a cool looking shoe and the colorway is clean.

Just got these from the new Vans "eco theory" surf line and they are pretty awesome.  Better than I expected them to be.  The insole is a nice thick removable one, not quite as thick as the Skate line insoles but not far off either.  Only complaint is that the laces are a bit more brown IRL than in the stock photos.  I love how the outsole is slightly transparent as well,  I can imagine these will be super grippy.

100% agree. We got a couple synth colorways dropping the following season (Holiday 21).

New accel plus came. Noticed it had the animal hide symbol. Obviously a mess up. Also leads me to believe not everything is animal skin that has this symbol, but you wouldn’t know that unless obviously faux. Nice shoe. Won’t be skating for a good while. Been skating the one from years ago with the clear blue sole. Holding up amazingly well

The vegan Joslin look sick!!!

Back in the days, I had a pair of Supra Dixon and they were my favorite shoes of all time. Never find a similar vegan shoe. With those Joslin, I think that it's the D-day  ;)

I was thinking about getting those white accels but i can’t get over the strap. I feel like that part of the shoe is so unnecessary and doesn’t look that good.

This person's eBay account has a bunch of upcoming SoleTech samples, a few of which appear to be vegan:
white/blue Accel Plus Everstitch
https://www.ebay.com/itm/313481647245?hash=item48fcf6548d:g:z94AAOSwbMFga461

Black canvas Etnies Kayson
https://www.ebay.com/itm/313343515052?hash=item48f4ba99ac:g:jlIAAOSwDHtf1~Xj

I'm most excited about these white canvas Accel Slims!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/313485377964?hash=item48fd2f41ac:g:wpIAAOSwvaxgb3FH
I just went back and revisited this seller's ebay page, and there a BUNCH of new sole tech samples posted, lots of new colorways and some new Emerica models as well (though most don't appear to be vegan).  This Accel OG colorway looks like it *might* be synthetic

The laces end before the strap so it ends up being kind of a slip on with a strap. They are great shoes. The outsole is much better than the regular accel sole. very little break in time. They're holding up pretty well so far too. It would be nice if they made a swift in this material though, same outsole, no strap.

The strap is dope and gives you some real
Good lock in feel! Some people cut it though.
As padded shorts said, this is the best outsole they do, you can skate them straight out the box and they have a tonne of grip/ support

Been skating mine for awhile. Cut the strap off the other day. The material on this model is so durable

I also have the faux leather white ones and the newer faux suede one.

Dennis Enarson has another signature colorway coming out, this time in the BMX slip-on.  No real details available but presumably vegan again?
Materials sticker can be seen in this post, confirmed synthetic upper

I’m pretty sure the VF stands for Vanity Fair, since that’s who owns them.

Everyone at my park skates vans. Any vegan option is great but, éS for life…and sometimes DC.

That makes sense. My point still stands though. It's super annoying. I am also partial to eS
