Anyone else just buy the $100 “friends and family box” from the Stingwater site? No mention of a shoe what so ever. Just literally a box with a sticker on it. I gambled and bought one, hoping I’m getting a pair of shoes. No choice for a size though. Guess I’ll see what happens.

I didn’t see it in time before it sold out but given the price I probably would have gambled as well. Definitely seems possible you’ll get the shoes but also selling a $100 box kinda seems like something sting water would do

He just happened to call the item “friends and family box” which is the same title given to the quick strike Nike SB dunks that come in the more limited box. And he just happened to put this for sale at the same time as his Nike SB dunk was about to release. People were waiting for info on if he was selling them on his site. He posts this. A lot of people thought this was a shot at being a “clever” way at trying to beat the bots. I’m not saying we’re (myself included) at fault for taking a chance. It was a gamble. But that post where he shows a computer that costs $600 compared to an Apple computer and it costs $1200. Normal brick compared to a supreme brick. An empty box compared to his box with a sticker on it. This dude, can fuck off.

Seems like you were pretty aware of what you were getting into. also this is the same guy that sold 10oz of rainwater for like 200$. take some ownership of your decision lol
