So my team got relegated from the first league (again)....shit sucks. Looks like 2nd league in Germany will continue to grow in popularity

Congratulations to "treble boys" on winning the slap pals fantasy league.
Whale congratulations on the league even if I was hoping Arsenal could pull it off but there was no way City was gonna lose it.
Went to the last home match of my second team on Friday..great craic even if we lost.

That's a bummer. Commiserations!

Speaking of lower leagues, I've been watching Serie C highlights recently and I love it. It's the perfect mix of bumbling amateurishness and talent.

Arsenal winning would've been great. Still have a soft spot for them for the beautiful football they played with Bergkamp, Henry, Pires etc. under Wenger. City has great players but overall it's the worst

Poch is out at Chelsea by mutual consent.
Are the ownership group at Chelsea idiots? Did he want to leave?
Discuss.

This Chelsea ownership group is obsessed with Brighton and De Zerbi just became available…

Poch seems like a good dude but never finds the right owners to give him the space he needs to build at either London team.    If he got the Ten Hag amount of patience…

def caught me by surprise, but happy to see since I was fearing Chelsea were going to carry this end of season form momentum to next season and compete for top 4, don't see that happening now with another reset for them ;D

Poch should try La Liga and the Barca job if Xavi really is done too

Doubt that, because of his ties with Espanyol

I would lean toward Bayern maybe bc of the Harry Kane connection

I’m hoping United gets Southgate.   Oof

I'm not 100% on this but I'm pretty sure he's been quoted as saying never Barcelona. As a longtime Spurs fan, it pained me to see him at Chelsea. Bayern would be cool I guess.

I was gonna say is going to manage Barca after more than a decade away from Espanyol (hypothetically) worse than managing Chelsea a few years after being the Spurs coach?

I just don't see a good replacement anywhere at the moment for a bunch of these clubs, will be interesting to see how things play out in the next couple of weeks to start the summer.

Atalanta seems to have the game on lock and finally someone will defeat Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen.

Happy for Gasperini. Also a good look for De Ketelaere after being snubbed my Milan.

You could maybe argue that Kompany lit the championship with Burnley, and tried to play the same football in the PL, but didn’t have the players for it.
Now he has the players.

But yeah, hard to see this going anything but tits up.

It could have been worse, he could have gone to Arsenal.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Was excited to see a close game between Leverkusen and Atlanta. Now I feel robbed by Leverkusen. Biggest football blue balls in a long time
