Put in my two weeks yesterday. As the years FLEW by I told myself I would get out before the 10 year mark and I am. They can “suck my dick from the back”!

stoked for you and the new job, man.

I have no idea what it's called.

I bomb the hill. When I get to the curb I  scrape my tail 90 and bash my truck into the curb like I would a 5oh transfer over a spine

It's like a hang up trick I guess? Maybe it's not a trick. I love doing it so much

i can't really picture it, but it sounds rad nonetheless. along those lines, i was making a point to some pals that doing that fs nosebluntpowerslide skid thing into an actually slappy is actually rad and not really cheating. couldn't think of a name either though.

Anything bashing your trucks is a great feeling. Ollie into axle stalls from way out makes my do the Italian kissing a butthole and it exploding gesture

Personally rediscovering just how fun an almost imperceptible bump can be. Yesterday I was skating in an uneven asphalt parking lot near my house when I realized ollieing out of this “bump” fast as fuck is crazy fun.

Bunch of things tonight:

Our systems went fuck up so we had to move offices, subsequently the rude cunt at work had to stay in her office.
I'm on my last shift with 3 days off after this.
Got paid today.
My dude dropped off a half oz of white widow this arvo.

Edit, also I was looking for some DVD's today and found un-watched copies of Viva La Bam and Bam's Unholy Union that I've never seen before.
Full on dank muddy 3 days off.

Landed a solid BS 180 nosegrind on a ledge today with a proper exit, first try too and I landed my first one 2 weeks ago, very hit or miss trick.  Have myself enough space between the ledge and my board so I could get a solid pop and rotation above the ledge before locking in. I found that is was too close to the ledge my nose wouldn't have enough time to get height and above the ledge to lock in, resulting in FS Noseslide.

Just really stoked on skating in my 30s is all.

Haven't smoked in a few days and feeling pretty clear again. Picked up reading again, too.
Also, I finally get to skate for the first time in two weeks on Saturday and I am so ready that I can't sit still.

was skating on the paved trail yesterday and started popping fat little floaters over the natural hip on a bridge. Hadn't done that in a long, long time and it felt pretty natural. Same as always! Look forward to skating the new 8.6 I bought last week.

Beautiful trick!

Today was the last day of work at my soul sucking job. Felt pretty good to walk out the door, knowing I never have to deal with that shit again and literally not look back after 9.5 years with those mother fuckers! Felt so pumped the whole drive home.

Super excited to start my new job as a park ranger.

Fitting end to the union BS and a new job with better pay and closer to nature.

Big Shalom.

Landed a proper BS Kickflip in SKATE last night with height and catch. Just learned them 1.5 months ago so I'm very stoked.

Gratitude:
Biden won.
My friend is in Turkey having the time of his life with his lady and they can look out their window and see (I believe) Greek Islands. And he said that there's chill feral cats everywhere.
Hopefully getting a new iPad Pro and iPencil since my awesome 4th generation hand me down is dying.
Hopefully will start aqua therapy soon for my fucked ankle.
Talked with my freelance employer who's cool with me not being able to work until after ankle surgery and he gave me a thumb drive full of the old Popeye Fleischer cartoons.
My friend in Atlanta is getting married and I'm going to gift him the unopened George Foreman Grill he persuaded me to buy at Home Depot like 5 years ago. I'm also getting him and his bride some cool stuff too.
I'm building a board for my friend's boy who likes Transformers and I can draw a decent Optimus Prime for his board graphic.
Applied for a 5000 artists emergency grant.
People in NYC celebrating yesterday. Like finally having just one day where we could breath a slight sigh of relief after four years of constant, baffling agony is YES <3

I like giving my friends and family weird things as gifts, everyone one of them has enough money to buy their own smart phone / fancy dinner / bottle of whiskey. But the funny and sentimental gifts show you paid attention and trasured that moment in your lives together.

Went on a date yersterday, it was the third time we encountered. We meet each other at 9h to go to some market, we talked and looked for stuff together, it was trully nice and felt very natural. Around 12h00 we went to a bar/cafe and ordered a bottle of wine then an another one. We walked around after that, bought another bottle of wine and sat by the river. A incredible amount of birds flew above us and made so much noise, it was really impressive. The view we had was perfect too (Rome is the most beautiful city in the world I think). We talked more, kissed. Around 20h we split and went home. She is such a cool person. I don't ofter spend that much time with anyone but I did not see the time pass. Such a cool day, one the best I had in a while.
