I like the Hawk aswell, the almost midtop bootie must be really confortable! I just dont like that cupsole sidewall, reminds of some old nike 6.0 stuff:


And I also dig the bold panelling in the Flaco II, pretty vintage'ish.

The first half of the year looked really promising but now all the Adidas looks so boring,

yeah, actually the city cup and the 3ST series did look like they were about to bring the goods but here we are, back at floppy vulc shoes ... I was hoping the 3MC at least had some hidden tech or whatever but that tactics review makes them look terrible.

The point of the 3MC was never being a tech shoe (65$). Its just that simple, cheap shoe that goes well with everything and doesnt stand out much. There's a huge market for this kind of stuff and I guess the adi-ease or the seeley were getting a bit tired...
Well, for non so safe stuff just wait for the next 3ST gen, they might be my fav looking shoe from adi skate in ages, cant wait to try them out.

K3s were definitely first. I had the Stevie’s, wish I had held onto them. They were so stiff I barely even wore them, they’d still be in great shape now.

Yeah K3 was definitely first. Not by too much though. Less than a year. Makes it even crazier that they came out so close together with such a similar design and exact same colourway.

I caught a glimpse of the Huf Spring '19 line and its great. That updated Cromer we saw in instagram posts is due out in that white leather and a black/white suede. The Hupper 2 Highs look good too as while I really thought I'd be unable to skate that shoe, the upcoming colors may be too good to resist. All black, navy and brown, all white (even the H).

I don't think they put it in wear areas do they? I have the Buzenitz Boost chillers but I can't wear them anymore because they became too unstable for my flat feet and old knees.

The boost is only in the heel and is exposed so far in the back that I dont think you would wear it down (only if you have a mad awkward flick).
I also understand your feeling about the busenitz boost. That pureboost tooling was always too narrow and wobbly for my taste, I havent worn mine in ages.
