Title: Brooklyn Banks Still Closed (7/8/18)

Had a friend in town and went to try to skate the Banks, but no dice.

Figured I'd update for anyone wondering or considering trying while they're in town. I couldn't find anything else on here and nothing else I found online was recent.

You can see where there used to be gaps in the fence, but seems all sealed up again. Total BS, only saw one piece of construction equipment in the entire place.

To be honest it's really fucking hard to skate now with the bricks the way they are. Still such a dope piece of history tho

They were open for like 8 months. Was fun while it lasted. Why they stopped caring and let us cut the fence and skate for almost a year I don’t know but now it’s closed and enforced.

I was there a few months ago and the fences were all fixed and a van was parked in there. If I was you, I'd just skate by and check for yourself since there's spots all around that area
