There's just something about them. They always feel forced, nobody looks casual doing one. Fakie flips ooze style, nollie heels are rarely a let down, but fakie heels just seem like a chore. It's like they're thrown in because the skater already has too many fakie flips in their part. There's no elegance or power to them. They just exist.
Sure there are some good ones, please post any (of course the first one will be Jerry in subject to change) but the vast majority just suck.
Shit heels.

Lindsey Robertson has a nice one in that Mystery Promo from New Blood
Geoff does a nice one in the beginning of his really Sorry part even though it was down like a three stair
-
fakie is the hardest stance to make look good in general

speaking of chores, i remember at the time, watching this entire seven minute hammer report re: "rambo's fakie heel" seemed like a real slog. in retrospect, a lot of the greco stuff in there is comedic gold, whether intentional or not.

I think the truth is the trick just doesn’t look good except for when maybe a select few do it
-
sweet lou did one down some stairs that i liked. he can do all those awkward tricks and have fun but i don't like fakie heels, not one bit.

If a fakie heel were a person I would run up and kick it in the shins
-
they don't.
-
It's not the tricks fault it's the shitty way most people do them.
-
I love fakie heels
-
All skateboard tricks are great. Stop fetishizing skateboarding.
-
I learned fakie heels because I saw Lindsay Robertson do them in the DC Australia Tour Video, from 2006. They were the shit then and they're the shit now.

It still look way better than varial flips and inward heels
-
Nope. Those are good tricks, too. You know what tricks are ugly? The ones you don't land.
-
If a fakie heel were a person it would be a tall clumsy redhead who could kick your ass
-
Its one of the few tricks i can do almost with no effort. If done right it can look amazing, case in point Lindsey:

^^^That is a good one. The real heel flip king.

They suck because no other trick has higher potential for stabbing your taint so viciously.

is there a thread floating around slap anywhere about that jim greco/rambo/filmer drama? i'd like to know all the juicy conspiracy theories behind why the kid wouldnt give up the clip
-
Like all tricks, they can look good when done by the right person, it just isn't common. For example, I dislike body varial tricks, but Brad Cromer's in Outliers is unreal.
-
There’s plenty of good fakie heels wtf

I gooch myself way more on nollie heels than I do on fakie heels. I like fakie stuff more than nollie... To me it's just like backwards regular.

Not to toot my own horn but I love the way a fakie heel feels when you pop it good and catch it

I've never been a fan but have noticed that they seem to be much more popular now than 10 or so years ago. Contrary to what I just said, JJ and Jerry's ones sure do look good.

Rad Moe! I like your style a lot! Even when I had them on lock I’d not have thought to do them on a hip for fear of ass knife.
Have a gnar bro.

They were sold outta you, seeing as you're the top selling faggot
-
Too lazy to find the exact moment but Al Davis does a solid one into a bank in the Converse video. If Al did it, it probably looks pretty good.

Much appreciated! The key is to pop about six inches before the seam on the hip and kick the shit out of it
