I voted Lakai since the slip ons treated me well. Only went through three pairs of skate shoes this year and those were them.

That's true. They had a few questionable and gross collabs. Their simple black, white or navy shoes is all I get. I don't know who would buy those neon blue shoes with flames and xoxos on them. WACK

I'd forgive them only if they brought back the Manchester. Cupsole, not Select. Never gonna happen though

The big company Quiksilver became Boardriders inc. so stay vigilant. My point is that this whole "core" thing isn't real and it's how things called Renegade Brands markets to people. Buying the shoes made for skaters by skaters sells. "Look it's Mike Carrol and Rick Howard and Lakai!" when it's really "Look it's CEO Steve Holley and the Renegade Brands family of brands®!"

They make really good snowboards that are quite popular. I guess that's their bread and butter and all the other stuff is just something a lil' extra.

Can't believe someone voted for Vox. I've skated more Emericas than anything else, and currently wearing the shifter high reserve which is a great boot.
