Hey looking at a new setup in the range of 8.75"+ wide. What are some good decks/trucks to pick? Open to skating shaped decks, just not anything too drastic.

The Polar football shape decks are decent, I like a deck with a good amount of concave tho, Indy 149's on mine, fit nicely. It's possibly a little too long but not crazy. I set it up as like a semi cruiser but tend to grab it before anything else now

Quasi 8.75 is perfect 14.5 wheelbase and 32.6 length. No problem flipping that thing around either. Every drop I get at least 2 of them

Length ain't no problem, I am 6'5"

I’m riding an 8.75 from Bacon at the moment. Figured I would see how wide a deck I could ride without it feeling too weird and it turns out I really like this size a lot. Its a pretty steep concave with steep tail/nose and I think is the standard concave South central makes as it feels the same as the Politic and DOA I’ve ridden.
Its a little awkward for some flip tricks, but I like the extra room for ledge tricks, wall rides and pretty much everything else I skate.
I have Ace 44’s on it which ride fine but look slightly narrow when I have smaller wheels on, but are normal when I have wider cruiser wheels set up on it.

Had the Blue Meanie and snapped it. Currently on the XXL eagle. Miss the Blue Meanie - it just looked sweeter under my feet.
Set up with Indy hollow forged 159s and 55mm F4 Lock-Ins.
Unintentional that I had blue shoes with the first setup and white with the second. In both cases they were on sale - which is how I roll.

Hey I make an 8.75 in a few graphics.
It's a good shape. Standard street. I skate it with Ace 55s, works out fine, but you gotta really man into your kickflips. Shit takes time to rotate cause of size.

Polar has a lot of big sized shapes, I got a 9.25 from 1991 supposedly. Should be fun

Minilogo makes 8.75 decks and 8.75 trucks if you want to go price point route.

Mini Logo (and Powell) have a big step up in wheelbase from their 8.5 (14.375") to 8.75 (15"). 15 is a huge wheelbase. I have one of the 8.5 decks and it actually measures like an 8.62 and would be fine with an 8.75 truck. The kicks on it are super mellow, which I don't care for.
I like Mini Logo trucks. I have an 8" set and an 8.38" set. They turn quite well for a low truck and I like the grind. They are super low (48mm). On the 8" I run 51mm wheels and no risers. On the 8.38 I have a 1/10 riser and 53s. With the 8.75s I would think you would want at least a 1/4 riser.

I'm riding 8,75 for a couple of years and there's not that many board options out there (specially in Europe): DLX, Polar, Welcome, Baker/Deathwish, Quasi, Santa Cruz and Creature.
For trucks I done Indys 159 and Thunders 151, they match the width perfect and Ace 55 are a little bit wider for me.

All's i know is that Toy make a board in that range and they make the nicest boards ive seen in years. They dont make any 10s tho. Toy boards are the flattest.

Recently went up to a 9” popsicle and it’s the best set up I’ve ever had. Ever.
15” wheelbase and 33.25” long. Ace 55’s fit perfect. Highly recommend, it’s the orange classic eagle.
