Guys Braile is wack as fuck and has straight up pedos and scientologists in their mix but I don't think this is them. I'm never gonna go up to bat for them but I think this is just a case of some psycho mom causing a scene. I would have just said go ahead call the cops you fucking freak. I gave a kid an old board like 3 weeks ago because his was totally fucked and he was skating gnarly. I had it in my trunk for a couple weeks for just such an occasion. This is a poor town and if the kid is skating hard and has a piece of shit board, why not give him what you no longer need. Or I could just do what I used to do and focus my old boards like a dumbass. The kid was so grateful, I gave it to him when I was leaving, and the next time I was at the park he said thanks again. Believe it or not sometimes people just want to be nice, it's called giving back to your community.

I’ve had 12-13 year old boys ask for my phone number so we could skate, I hooked up the 3 boys with a bunch of old skate shit. I declined giving them my number tho and I even told the kid, I’m 30, your parents probably wouldn’t want you exchanging numbers with an adult. The kid understood.

First off, braile and revive are horrible and creepy.
Giving away product is totally cool, I used to give all my used decks, and wheels away all of the time once I was in my early 20s and making more money.
Giving product away to kids is fine, establishing a channel of communication with those kids based on giving them prudent is not good.

My parents didn't support skating. My first real skate stuff was from an adult who skated the park. If i got hooked up i'd definetely share the wealth with everyone who skates the local.

Reminds me of this thing in my hometown, where this independent contractor was supposed to do some roof job or something at the local preschool. Went to check out the building and it was raining, so he would drive back and forth trying to find the right building. Some lady picking up her kid saw it, took a photo of the very recognizable company car and posted it on Facebook saying some creep was watching kids. Post got shared like a thousand times and people figured out who's car it was. Dude didn't even have a Facebook and found out about it from his kids. He tracked down the lady and called her and she just flat out denied ever making the post at first and then refused to take it down until the city confirmed the story. Then she finally made an apology post which of course gained no similar traction and people were still mean mugging the guy everywhere ;D

I’m an adult and I can afford to buy a new board when I want one, but I remember being a small little skater dude and skating haggard boards only wishing I could skate someone’s hand me down. It really is just part of the culture and this lady is wack.
