Title: Art work that tracked a skater's movement across a plaza?
Post by: Chapingro on May 11, 2020, 11:20:41 AM
I have this memory of seeing an artwork where there were lines created on a map of a plaza that were based on the movement of a skater through the space. Does this ring a bell for anyone who might know the name of the artist/piece?

Are you thinking of when the Olsons skated through paint?

This is isnt it, but it's something people were doing a lot of a few years back. Did it look something like this:

Immediately thought of this too. I remember seeing it in a Transworld at a grocery store years ago and being hyped on it and it stuck in my mind all this time.

This type of stuff in enclosed spaces has been done times and times again though. IIRC even Brezinski once did some energy drink-supported shit involving colored paint and obstacles.
