" Jimmy Carlin has been on a serious training mission at Black Box Distribution's private TF for months... and now it's all paying off. He's Mystery's newest am, officially--look out for fresh new footy in their new video dropping this summer. "

I know right? ANybody think blackbox might be fucked in the coming years? They seem so based upon a style of skating that most people nowadays consider to be boring and repetitive. Fuck Zero and Mystery. Thrill of it all was still amazing though.

blackbox is about as cynical as business gets, they'll be around for ever albeit on some birdhouse/world type status.

San Dee-eh-bro is boring.

I think you got it wrong. Hunting-bro beach is more like it. But yes San Diego is the worst!! Bad weather, No spots,No chicks,Gross Beach's,No Nightlife, No skateparks, Ditches all have water in them...SD should not even be on anyones skatemap.

Jimmy's cool and a ripper. San Diego is great despite all the little bitch ass wannabe coming up kids. I made a lot of great friends when I lived there.

I like SD.  Not nearly as much as Japan, but it has it's charms.  Don't call Rattray "Johnny".  I almost made that mistake.

because they dont conform to this new breed of anti hammer, wallriding, lets skate this fucking cellar door, half ass skating. i appreciate all skating, but if you go your whole part with only properly popping like 5 tricks cause your riding up walls or someshit the whole time then fuck off.

hate to break it, but almost all pros 'train'. they dont usually just learn shit at the spot you see in the video or magazine. poor choice of words maybe, but you are just turning a blind eye to a fuckload of good skaters

Misled Youth was their best video
You got your opinion, I got mine. Thrill of it all was so fucking raw, there hasn't been a video at all like that since then. Misled youth was replicated over and over- not Zero's fault and may speak well of it, but something about Thrill of it All that just stands out to me as an all time great. Basically, if you line it up first to last video, they each take a small step down in quality, in my opinion atleast.
