Since I am very picky when it comes to boards, I always buy boards that I like in bulk and in bigger quantities (3-4) so I never run out. I store them down in my basement, some are shrinkwrapped, some are not.
Does air and humidity mess with the plyes or is it a myth? Are there any tricks how to store them so they don't get damaged?

Humidity can warp boards - shrinkwrapping them will help. To better store them, I save the silica gel packets that come with shoes and throw them in the box with the boards. I also try to keep the temp less than 80 degrees F.

large swings in humidity for sure can fuck them up..
I have a 24 hr. dehumidifier in my basement that keeps things between 30 and 40%, and i sleep well

Old hoodies and plastic sleeves. Beds of bubble wrap and those do not eat this package things from shoe boxes.
I shrunk wrapped a few before and they warped so I use open ended sleeves now and never put wood in the attic.

If you have a quiver, how do you stack them? On top of each other with gripside up or down, or on their sides? I'm trying out putting them on their sides (where you see the plys) with bookends on each side. I'm thinking this will prevent the stack from pushing down and ruining the concave.

Magnum condoms will stretch over an entire skateboard. You just leave the nuts hanging out.

Fuck yeah thank you. That shit is beautiful to me. I had 3 saved 1 because they make me feel good.

I got to have a box and bubble wrap cut like grip sheets. I get bummed if i can see them.
Why do I have so many frickin boards? When I lived in the city there was no shortage of people who I saw skating everyday on not great wood. I'd hook them up the best I could.
Marblehead kids need to skate more so I can pass on some extra crap. I see them but they are shook to death.
I almost took the bus to go see bam and Andy but nah. The bus sucks.
