How would you even slappy Nollie lip? I can't work that one out in my head haha!

My sinful ones are these... they're fun to do when messing around or if you're playing skate and want easy letters on people hahah!
Switch disco flip (switch heel flip backside body varial)

Varial flip frontside body varial

Shuv it body varials & shuv it reminds.

50-50 shuv outs

Board slides on ledges/boxes

Stupid THPS style ledge combos going ~1MPH. Not the prettiest but fun getting stupid tech like you're trying to beat your friend in VS mode. Hahah

Shitty pop shuv reverts (switch look and feel way better), halfcab noseslide, every few years I’ll pull a nightmare flip out ironically, no pop fakie bigspins - I try to counter the gross by going fast on that one

I love lipslides into tailslides and rock backsideflip out. If you ever skate with me it'll become painfully obvious just how much I like Cheese and Crackers and Fully Flared.

180 nosegrind body varial

like a lotti spin with a grind in the middle? i think that would look cool.

as for me...

when i was 13 i had back fifty to back lip on my flatbar and tought it was dope. would probably still enjoy it if i could still do it.

i did a fakie fs 50, fakie fs bigspin out once. that's about as gross as it gets and i was suuuuppper stoked.

i mean landing anything feels pretty good if we're being honest.

No not like that, front 180 nosegrind and a frontside body varial I guess. It is not cool. I also do it on a ledge that like slopes down to the ground. Idk trust me it’s lousy but I love it.

Also def into shuv it tail grabs and front shuv melons.

3 shuvs without popping it.

this is actually an elegant trick if you do it from the tail. nose version is ok too.

we used to call them power shove-its. not sure if thats a real thing.

No complys, front and back, sometimes throw a stupid flip or big spin on the fs ones, it's the most fun way to get into fakie/switch

And that aint a slappy it's just a nollie lip on a curb, I don't think a slappy nollie lipslide is possible, you can't smash your trucks into one

Pop shuv it body varials feel as good as how bad they look...

I also do fakie ones in a pinch in skate to a look of well deserved disgust

Yeah nah slappys are all about beatin the shit out of curbs, if the front truck doesn't smash into it first then it's not a real slappy, that's pretty much what defines them, no popping into them, that's just a normal grind or slide

in that case i do normal grinds and slides

but very gross

also i do railslides on ledges

i try to sex it up and call it a rock and roll slide

but honestly i will do a railslide on a ledge and just smear it off to the landing

but so also maybe slappy nose slides are just nose slides

am i gross

I like to do boardslides on ledges instead of rails.

Front boards on the last 2 inches of a ledge where you're at a steep angle is amazing. No shame there.

I was going to say that I love slappy crooks, but those are fucking sick.

That one dude did a pressure heelflip body varial in North 2 and then so did I after seeing it. My friends have always hated that one

Vincent Bressol did a fakie late shuv in Bon Apetite so I learned how to do it nollie. People usually laugh but I genuinely like doing them

I love doing boardslide fakies on ledges even if it is an illegal trick

I ran with 360 shuvs for longer than I should’ve just because I could do them fairly easily. I once filmed one in a line as a follow up trick to a lipslide on a ledge. Guilty as charged

Switch slappy nose. Especially with a shove or flip out. Feel equal amounts of shame and pleasure when I do a switch slappy nose b/s body varial out. Can't regular noseslide, slappy or otherwise, to save my life but I would do them in the same vain as my switch ones if I could.

Ollie one-foot manual/5-0 is my go-to session starter.

Kickflip rock fakies but only when I'm at my home park.

Pop shove tailgrab to feel like a 3rd grader again.

Flatground : switch varial flip sexchange, nollie casper flip and shove-it late underflip.

Ledges : Nollie tail sex-change, bs/fs hurricane, switch 50/50 fakie flip out.

Manual : nollie varial flip out of nose manual cause i can't do straight nollie flip, nose manual to switch nose manual, nose manual sex change.

transition : i'm only able to do axle stall and rock, my transition skills are gross.

I do a lot of the ones mentioned in the thread, but my main offense is the sw fs illusion flip. For years I had it on lock, then I didn´t do it for years because I was kind of ashamed and now I´m doing it again and pretend not to care. But deep down I still have my insecurities about it even tough I feel like younger kids give me props for it more often haha.

Not sure if it's considered gross, but I'm willing to bet it is. Gotta say, a fast back 50 bs 180 out feels pretty good.

In boys of summer 2 AVE does a slappy back 50 back 180 out in a line hauling ass and it officially changed my opinion of that trick. Maybe because it's AVE and maybe because he slappy's into it but either way, it's rad.

My go to for warming up is a fs 5050 switch 180 out..........

my bag of cringe consists of bs krooked to lipslide,  fakie tailslide, fakie lipslide, blunt board to bs rock n roll, sweepers, creepers, booster boneless to fakie, early grab 360's canadian flyouts, no comply's back and front, switch rocket flips I like the to get double flips sometimes.  I'm sure I have more to add but these have been my go to's as of recently.

Secretly I love a nollie back bigspin. They feel amazing on flat or a bank, but they are a tasteless trick. I used to do them to back disasters on quarterpipes but I haven't done that in a few years.

Aside from that I do a ton of gross shit:
One foot frontside rock and rolls on quarterpipes
One foot front slashes/pivs/ and 5-0s on quarterpipes
flat ground Airwalks / Fakie airwalks

Then there's a list of lipslide and boardslide tricks I do on ledges:
Front board 270 out
Front board bigspin out
I do nollie back lips on ledges alot but I think people like Matt Reason and Jake Rupp proved that those are not gross.

I can't believe people in here think feebles on ledges are gross. Feebles on ledges are beautiful.

Pretty much anything I can do consistently is gross. I learned a bunch of stanky illegal maneuvres as a young lad. I started skating in the mid 80s as a small child with huge fish-shaped setups that I never even considered ollie-based tricks and kickflips until after I had already been skating for years. I was basically freestyling- I could do some standard tricks that had names but I also did a lot of stuff that I just made up on my own. Boneless and fastplant variations, weird no-comply variations with no name, street-plant wallrides, bert slides on banks, layback grinds on curbs and just a lot of really kooky stuff. Handflips and finger flips, pop-shuv tailgrabs, 360 hippie jumps, sex change to powerslide type stuff. Just trying to do whatever I could to get rad with no skatevideos and nobody else to skate with. The only real connection I had to any kind of actual skate media was the Nintendo game Skate or Die. My brother and I used to do Skate Joust and dumb shit like that from the game. Good times

Had Nollie Bigspin Reverts and toeflips on lock for a long time, can't help it.
What do you consider a toeflip? That’s what I always called 3shuv backfoot underflips. Which is an extremely embarrassing trick, but real fun.

I do the ugly no-comply varient where I place the back foot on whatever I’m popping over, instead of the front. They’re god-awful looking, but fuggit, I enjoy being able to do ‘em both ways.
Gonz taught me how to do ‘em, so I give myself a “get out of jail free“ pass on the trick.

Good topic, Tailgrab.  Just want to let you know that you have been terribly misinformed about Frontside 180 Ollies...They are a Cornerstone of our activity.  Do yourself a favor and watch the 1st Stereo video, A Visual Sound...You will witness Frontside 180s done with power and style.  You can usually tell a lot about a skater by how they push.  And I will argue that you can tell a lot about a skater by how they execute a Frontside 180 on flatground.      God, I miss the 90's....LOL!!!!!

Usually when people say toe flip they refer to the pressure flip variation that rotates like a varial kickflip would (e.g.. PJ Ladd's goofy flatground line in the intro to his WHL part). 360 underflips are just called that. If you think those are embarrassing, wait until you realize how easy it is to do 360 double underflips when you can already do the single ones (it's essentially the same thing with exaggerated foot placement). At the end of the day though, nothing compares to a good 360 flip or impossible in terms of both feel and form.

You pop the tail to get the board up and then kind of catch and guide it up and in the direction you're going with your inner thigh. The key is to use your thigh so it's one continuous motion and it doesn't bash your knee. The way you need to pop is kind of similar to that motion you do when you pop the board into your hand except you're jumping along with it.

Push a touch frontside so it gets the thigh. If it goes backside you’ll get a sore knee and not really like it. That’s why I don’t do them often.

it's quite funny how many people i know that have this bag of technical or i guess intermediate tricks, yet they cant fathom a nollie or fakie bs 360 shove in a game of skate, or even simpler tricks than that - i've 5 tricked people just by running through 180 and shove variations in all stances.

people seem to really hate fakie fs bigspins but i think they feel nice

In the 90s I did daily roast beef grabs in my small ass town.

Since then i've unabashedly nollie tail slid every skatepark ledge I could hop on. To the point where I've fully lost regular tailsldes i my 40s.

But fuck it. If it feels good do it.

fakie heelflips. some people really hate that trick but, i enjoy them.

What's wrong with fakie heelflips? Some people are weird. You don't see fakie heelflips often, but I'd always assumed it was because they're harder than they look.

I'm a little embarassed to admit that I love doing a bunch of gross tricks every once in a while. For some reason, they're the ones that come natural. Ollie to rock to nose manual is another one.

Pretty sure i posted earlier in this thread, but my entire trick bag is weird, so i'm back.

Fakie heels are pretty much a go-to warm up flip for me, love them.

Fakie FS bigspins feel awesome.

I think my grossest go-to trick is probably switch BS pop shuv body varial, always helps me out in a game of skate, and they feel weirdly satisfying.

Honourable mentions to nollie and fakie 360 shuvs, any flip with a body varial.

Rolled my ankle 3 weeks back, but in that session I was trying to learn varial flip body varial, and nightmare flips.

If we play a game of SKATE, I’m dropping a pressure flip for sure and perhaps a fakie varial heel and even a front shove revert.

Disguting tricks, I love doing them because that’s three free letters right there.

But do you enjoy them?

I will do nollie shove sex change, shove it sex change and switch one foot ollies in skate really consistently to score points, but I don't remember the last time I did them just for fun.

Varial flip body varial is a nasty one. I am always unhappy when people do varial flip in Games. I can do them sometimes but ugly as fuck. Also I never feel safe doing them. I have never seen a varial flip body in the wild tho. I throw the occasional flip body varial attempt once in while. I always warn people that what’s coming is pretty disgusting. Trigger warnings are important even in games if skate

Fakie 5050 fakie front shuv out. Stupid ugly trick, but I'm terrible at switch popping out for some reason or even rolling out..or fakie pop out, so I just front shuv, wouldn't say I enjoy it, but it feels natural to do, and I've got to the point where I can actually pop them out not just flop them out. I used to do the terrible fakie fs 180 out but that's even worse. I'm gonna start practicing coming out properly...or more ways than 2.

I used to huck those (frontside) up the euro gap at the local indoor. All speed, no pop. Eventually I tamed it into a nollie pop shuv, but in the beginning it was a 3 shuv because thats what worked. I thought it was sick because nobody else did it, but I can't speak for anyone else.

Never knew they were gross and I've been doing front salads on ledges for 20 years.....

Switch front 5050 fakie 180 outs are so natural, but God they look awful....I laugh at myself everytime I do one, and its always accidental.

While not gross, just super basic, there is nothing more fun on a skateboard than a super long high speed flatbar front board.  I can do them all day long and never get bored.

go fast and make sure you land with your back foot on the tail ish so you can lift, and your front foot on or behind the front bolts so that theres no way for you to get the leverage to half cab out. and keep your shoulders as still as possible. I don't know what its actually called but I'll try to explain it
so, first picture a GoOfY footed person on a board.
Right foot aimed outward, heel barely on board (near nose)
Left foot aimed outward, heel barely on the board (on tail)
So basically clown stance feet, with toes totally off
Applying pressure, but no ollie.. using the right heel to flip, as soon as the pressure is applied - to make the board flip.
Sort of like the ugliest heel-but-kickflip-ever
My pal asked me what it was called and I said "the penis wrinkle" (this is like year 2000)
Anyway, peak was when some other dudes showed up and my boy goes "Show 'em the penis wrinkle!"

I thought it did honestly. Made it look more natural, less corny 70's highjump vibes

Nollie bs bigspin might be gross but I like doing them.

Nollie 5-0 is a gross trick but it's one of like 3 ledge tricks I have so I do it.

I like to do nollie 5-0 front shove out…makes it slightly less illegal, kinda works both ways as well, 5-0 front shove isn’t the best trick either

Used to enjoy doing no comply shoves over rails/flatbars, as in i'd pop up and launch off the rail with my back foot, could do it with inward heels too. I like to think it looks okay but can also see how some could see it as kooky.

Switch bs noseslides, but it's mainly a precursor to front tailing something tall(ish). Good trick for testing the waters at a spot.

2nd thing is over the top of benches and cylindrical pylons on their side and such. front wheels touch. for the 1st just ride up to a can or a wall frontside and shifty flip into it and level it out while hitting the nose without hitting the front wheels. back to regs. and idk if flip back feebles on ledges and curbs are gross but i do those too

Seeing ray barber do a perfect nollie front heel thru the legs style in that Dollin promo and rewatching penny over chain makes me regret stopping doing all the thru the legs flips.
I enjoyed them a lot and shouldn't of worried about what was cool.
