Can you say triple angle?
-
I feel like hes mad underrated. Such a gnarly part
-
At 34 years old, damn. Seems like he can kickflip or 360 flip anything.
-
Seems like this guy is making a comfortable living off skating and it's so well deserved. That's a lot of abuse on someone's body and he's been producing like this forever. Awesome
-
He did the Tom Penny fs blunt
-
What a fucking awful name for a part.
-
It's cool he's still going so big. He sounded pretty chill in his Bunt interview. Those are all the nice things I have to say...
-
I watched it, some heavy tricks and two reeeealy nicely flicked fs flips. Switch big heel over the rail was HUGE. Worst part about it is the name.
Pedant time - that wasn't a triple angle that was 2 angles, one shown twice in different 'mo's.
-
Inside scoop or very coincidental timing...

High level skateboarding. That was impressive minus the music choice.

I’m stoked on all the HB/OC clips too just cuz... The kicky board he did at Dwyer is like UCI tall. The few clips on that rail I’ve seen just kissed it but Decenzo got on it pretty high.
Ride my bike n skate skips ditch couple days a week n that gap is insane, props to Alex Chalmers for breaking it in. Randomly one time just riding my bike I witnessed a bmxer no hand or whatever it is they call it that gap then tagged up the nearest wall.
Always appreciated RD but this might be the first part of his I like mostly cuz his age n how long he’s been in the game.
High level skateboarding. That was impressive minus the music choice.
-
That was awesome.
-
The blunts were the highlights for me
-
There must be a really short line for the job of "guy who names skate parts".
-
he needs to stop wearing khakis. lots of sweaty ass crack shots in here
-
for real tho. i really liked the front tail on that wall, the gap to lip and gap to blunt. he goes big
-
respect to him for STILL skating like that into his mid thirties. i gotta say in a way i feel sorta bad for dudes like him tho. someone like reynolds has the style to where he can skate low impact and people will still care. unfortunately for ryan, if he went low impact i don't think people would really care. idk i guess i just cant fathom knowing that my livelihood revolves around risking my body every day, but he probably doesn't think of it that way
-
That fs lipslide on the blue rail was insane. I will never understand how some people have the balls to do that.
-
its really just his shirts that bother me. he wears some TJ Maxx looking shit. Hurley, Billabong looking ass. c'mon bro
great part tho!
-
I love his FS 360s
-
I can't believe he's 34 and still skating like this. So crazy. Switch bs blunt Hollywood High 16 is nuts
-
I can't believe he's 34 and still skating dressing like this. So crazy.
-
Give him baggy clothes and put him on primitive so he can get the respect he deserves.
-

I hate to say that I agree lol. I ignore clothing as much as I can, and his outfits are totally inoffensive, but he dresses like I did when I was 14. He has that won a gift card to PacSun steez.
Anyways, what's more important is that he's an incredible skater and most of this part blew me away.
I had no idea that he's in his mid-30s, which makes this part twice as impressive.
-
can someone teach this fool how to wear a hat jesus fucking christ
-
Oh I always got time for some new Ryan Defensive clips
-
If Kader dropped the exact same part he'd 100% win SOTY.
-
Switch big heel over the rail into the bank was cool, not sure if I've seen one of those before.
-
Give him baggy clothes and put him on primitive so he can get the respect he deserves.
-
Absolutely incredible... stokes me out considering his age. I think he takes care of himself, as should we take care of ourselves.
-
Some really heavy footage in there, too bad it was wasted with Red Bull hats, Red Dragon logo grip/tees, and that horrific absolutely horrific song.
-
The title of this part is the real reason Lotties closed
-
Can’t believe he did that Penny trick. Why doesn’t he go switch fs board El Toro in a Habs jersey while he’s at it?

Dude is underrated.Gap back blunt was sick
-
Very heavy part, especially into his 30s. This a part someone would put out to generate hype as a young rail chomper, so to do it at 34 is insane
-
Really good part from Decenzo! Loved the fs and bs blunts at the end, the front tail on the stone wall to drop, and the switch big heel. His switch heel over the fence was pretty sick and unexpected from him
too bad he ate a cheeseburger and two margaritas and didnt check his emails.
-
He did do the penny blunt!
Whole part was very impressive and the shit music didn’t detract as much as it should have
That’s because the skating was just so fucking fire
-
yeah thats gunna be a mute from me dawg
-
That gap to bs blunt is seriously hammertime. Daniel Lutheran 5050’d that and Figgy 5-0 (maybe?), but bluntslide is a big step up.
-
The Penny front blunt as others mentioned, the 7 stair gap out into fs lipslide down 7 more stairs of blue rail, and the kickflip bs boardslide on the plus size rail down about 12 stairs were what stood out to me the most. The kf back board it's not even a trick you see much ever. Sal Barbier, Heath Kirchart, Erik Ellington, Jon Dickson, and probably Billy Marks are the ones that come to mind.
Something about his style though just isn't appealing and the Red Bull and Red Dragon gear/grip certainly doesn't help matters.

Very powerful and can do tech tricks!
-
Title and music were horri-bad but the skating was legit. Huge bag of tricks.

I don’t think there was a single line in that part. All single-trick bangers and no filler. 360 flip over the neen rail was nuts. Props to him for still ripping at 34
-
forgot the whole part already
it had hammers
i dont like mid high impact at non famous spots
he dresses like a 15 year old
the dude who edited this was like YO IM WHITE HE WANTS A HIP HOP SONG LOOK FELLA I GOT THIS ONE YO
can he throw himself down el toro or Hollywood 16? I dont care about evil knievel type skating if its non famous spots
risk your health only if it matters or skate something low impact
the treflip into the bank was insane
-
Fucking killing it. Doesn't even seem possible for his age (although I agree parts of the edit suck and his style isn't amazing). The hate for taking money for corporations is ridiculous. Most pro skaters end their careers with no money, few prospects, and fucked up health. Pros that actually find a way to make a real living off of this silly sport shouldn't be hated on.

front blunt the penny hubba where he got the cover but didn't land it

While I'll probably never seek out the song on Spotify or whatever, I thought it fit the part well.
Also, 34?! WTF.
-
Some really heavy footage in there, too bad it was wasted with Red Bull hats, Red Dragon logo grip/tees, and that horrific absolutely horrific song.
That‘s what pays the bills...
-
30s is the new 20 been a while.
-
30s is the new 20 been a while.
For once, I agree with you.
Heavy part, just filled with awful filming, editing, and the song. That god damn song, kept thinking of Sven Kilchemann's song in Battalion. He also got the boot from Globe.
-
Had the tricks to be an epic, hammer part, but the music/editing diluted the shit out of it.
Props to Decenzo. Insane abilities. I'm the same age and just having a good flatground day alone is a miracle.
This is nuts.
-
If Kader dropped the exact same part he'd 100% win SOTY.
Imagining Kader doing these tricks actually put decenzos skill into a better perspective for me. Decenzo isn't my kind of skater but he is on some mr miyagi master level of hammers. I don't think any mentioned the heelflip over the fence at Hollywood high, that shit blew me away.
-
Frontside flip over the bump to bar was sick. Could barely even tell it flipped. Whole part was nuts, I can’t believe he still goes so hard. He must not fall very often because almost everything he skates is deadly.
-
The part was nuts and unlike most I did not hate the song.
-
dont act like kader can do hella thing Ryan decenzo cant

Dude the gap to blunt!!! That spot is insane, it’s near my house, we always looked at it when we were kids, imagining. I was shocked when someone (Lutheran?) grinded it. This was insane. Makes me think all the other spots in the part are absolutely nuts in real life too. Props to decenzo always killing it.
-
Felt like I just watched a part from a Digital Skate video straight out of 2005.
As gnarly as dude is, it was so uninteresting.
That tre was proper fucked tho…
-
The heelflip over Hollywood 16 fence is underrated

Shits insane
-
That was bonkers and especially for his age. Too bad the editing sucked.
-
That heelflip over the fence cold be any pro ender in the world.
-
He should have called it Ender Sender.
-
They totally would have been within the bounds of good taste to use slow mo on damn near every trick
But man
Song was on some tactical manual, early 2000s underground hip hop elitist shit
Lol
Like something peter smolik woud skate to
-
Worst thing about skating these days is people having to name parts like songs.
Awful name. But he rips.
-
I revisited his circa kybosh part recently thanks to the download all the videos thread. It's rad how far he's taken his talents.
-
Imagine if he wasn’t on darkstar
-
More like Ryan De-sends it.
-
luckily he didnt take the name of my upcoming "Gender Bender" part
-
Can you say triple angle?
I was hoping theyd just do the last trick from 30 angles just to make a joke about all the triple angles
-
dude kills it, and always puts out heavy parts.
credit where credit is due. this part was dope.
R E D F U C K I N G D R A G O N S
-
It was basically a part full of enders, everything was fucked, so gnarly, so much skill, he's never been my favourite but after hearing him on the bunt I like him a lot more. He's very down to earth and just seems like he makes the most of his situation.
-
At 34 years old, damn. Seems like he can kickflip or 360 flip anything.
It's like Jeremey Wray said, If you can ollie it you can kickflip it.
Also, That tailslide @ 2:10 would be the scariest shit ever.
The super skinny, crusty out ledge, the bushes on the siie making it seem narrower than it is, and the the curb roll away,
-
He did the Tom Penny fs blunt
Searched for this Thread just to see if anyone else noticed that. It pissed me off as I feel like it's disrespectful to put it in a part coming out now.
Penny had the cover of TWS doing that in 96.
Maybe me being old and salty, but it does violate the sacred ABD code, even more so as it was Penny and a cover. Thoughts?

Penny didn't land the blunt. It was an NBD until Ryan did it.

Tom Penny’s infamous Transworld cover. Story told by Dave Swift
It was a good day, I was going out to shoot some transplant from Europe, he rode for Flip. Tom shows up and he starts skating, he does some 5-0’s first try, then some other tricks first try. Then he goes out and starts trying those things (Front-Bluntslides) goes out and takes a few tries. I was all set-up to shoot this other guy. So I was like,”Fuck I’ll just shoot this” so the first one he tries he slides all the way down to the end and he pretty much could have made it, so I shot like four more. Then he heard one of his buddies showed up with some weed. So he goes and smokes weed, then takes off (laughing). I mean…there was no frustration; it wasn’t like he had been slamming all day. Everybody was like “Whoa…he was just doing something super gnarly and just stopped”. He could have done it, he hadn’t slammed…then left; and that’s pretty much the way Tom was. Everybody was like, “He’ll come back and make it” and seeing how he was doing it was it was no problem, like he’ll get up for breakfast and come down here and do this. And it just kinda of never happened. Cause at the time Tom Penny was the sickest dude…so we ran it right away, thinking he would go back and do it.
-
I've been waiting for hip hop to make it back into skate videos. Sure, not the greatest song, but still sick to see. Some big shit goes down in this thing.

It's common knowledge that wasn't a land. How do you not know this? The cover was before my time, and even I knew.
-
Fuck me that was an insane part! My mind kept being blown, and that's an accomplishment for the type of skating he does! Usually I get hammer-fatigue, but in this part I just kept questioning what else could be possible! I have a much higher amount of respect for the guy after seeing this! Bad-fucking-ass!
-
luckily he didnt take the name of my upcoming "Gender Bender" part
-
I'm not the biggest Decenzo fan because he has that "15 year-old-mall-skater aesthetic" and some lame sponsors,
but let's put some respect to this man's name and give props where props are due.
There's definitely some insane stuff in there ... and at 34 years old, sheesh.
-
I keep coming back for the tre. Landing in a bank and accelarating is so much better than for instance Jaws landing the Lyon 22.
Lyon is probably gnarlier but this looks so much better.
-
Seems like this guy is making a comfortable living off skating and it's so well deserved. That's a lot of abuse on someone's body and he's been producing like this forever. Awesome
Guess either Darkstar sells big at zooms and shit? The brand is trash (boards are as good as anything out of DSM) so how do they stay afloat and more importantly, why does that team stay?

If I'm not mistaken they have price point boards in Walmart and other big box stores. I guarantee all the darkstar dudes are doing just fine in the way of getting paid. Much more than your favorite "core" riders.

what a gnarly part, holy shit!!! penny blunt, hammers after hammers, and honorable mention for being a "no bullshit" part, no cinematic takes, not 23424324min of bullshit footage, highfives or whatever da fuck kids put in parts nowdays, this felt like an OG skatepart, insane tricks, song could be better but it is what it is!
-

Crazy.
-
Please, I’d forget they named this oft what they did.
-
I dont know why but Davids kickflip looked gnarlier.
Both of course is insane I wouldnt even ride down this thing
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5zIgf0-mDg
Crazy.
he should have slammed at least once. maybe even on purpose. just to show some respect.
-
Being able to kick out so close to landing and run out of it shows insane levels of skill. Fuck.
-
I can't even imagine running out of that and down that so many times. Insane that he actually rode out the first one he took to the ground. That was so fucking gnarly.
-
fun fact: Ryan asked his IG followers to suggest names for his part and this is what he chose
