Saying Hewitt has a tough guy image is comical, I've always seen him as a complete goofball, and overall seems like a decent guy. Do people have TNT-esque stories about him?

I worry for Auby. Given his past interview about mental health, and the way he idolizes Jeff Phillips.. It seems like textbook self destructive behavior. I hope I'm just being overdramatic and he has close homies supporting him

I've texted with auby before, he's super good people. We talked about Philips and how it's so tragic that he ended his life. If he's going through a manic episode, then i hope his friends are there to actually look out for him

It's sad that we have all these pros and sponsored skaters dealing with mental health issues like depression that has led to suicide and yet people still act like their skate careers are not connected to those issues.
People thinking that someone speaking their mind is a mental health issue. That is enough to drive anyone crazy.
Black Label is lame for dropping him and Love letters is lame for airing it on their show.
I've watched Auby's skating from then till now. I've watched those company's change for 20 plus years. Its funny to see them try and get down with this new era of giving a shit about people especially knowing them and their history
Maybe they'll find a way to sell another product through this rather than actually owning up to being shitty to people.

I couldn't find his previous post about his childhood and homelessness, but I remember reading it and thinking, damn (and I come from third world style poverty of the Philippines).
It sounds like the Texas storms that froze people to death amongst other things has pushed him down on his luck, but he's just being introspective and venting instead of putting his hand out for a gofundme.
I admire his ability to do what he's done despite all the negative factors that weighed him down. I'm really hoping he recovers and finds a smooth road in his near future. It sounds like all the roads he's been on have been rough.

Auby was already sick but blasting mfs honestly gave him even more of my respect. Sounds like industry politics got in the way of another great skater. His transition between being an elite street skater and then going into vert doesn't get enough recognition imo. He's sick.

Looks like he’s had a moment of clarity and pulled both posts calling out people either by name or in photo (Dave Swift and Peter Hewitt).

He was pissed at Swift for being… temperamental? It was kind of weird, he was complaining about how Swift did things, but if you work with a professional photographer, i suppose they have certain ways of doing things.
He also called out Grosso and someone for inviting him to come skate ‘as a novelty’, but then the invitations stopped ‘as soon as (Auby) got good’.
He was mad at Hewitt (he didn’t use his name, he said something like ‘I can’t even remember his name, thats how insignificant he is’) for bullying people at a park, and then when Auby called him out on it, he didn’t stand up for himself but took off in his truck and messaged Auby later saying something like how he was going to ruin Auby’s career.
They were spiteful posts that kind of looked like events that Auby hadn’t gotten past, and because he was stressing out he decided to angry post.

I thought I was going nuts looking through his feed and not finding anything like that last night...
I also thought that he quit Black Label, not that he got kicked off, but I don't know anyone in and around that besides what I see or read from another continent, so I could imagine that some people would be taking sides in whatever was going on and are much closer to knowing exactly what went down, but don't need to share as it is his private life, not our public opera show.
I liked his skating in both eras of his, from Krooked street days, through Black Label, injuries and breakdowns, to Image Kid 80s vert boards, but like a lot of skateboarders, I am not particularly interested in their personal affairs or the fact that they seem to be on monu"mental" rollercoasters, but I sometimes cannot look in the mirror, so have nothing to add there.
