Hey Guys,
I hav a problem with my new bushings.
I put a pair of new Independent 90A Standard bushings in my venture trucks. Couldn't find original venture bushings and thought the Independent ones does match the shape with venture bushings.
So now and then they slip out on one side and i dont know why.
I used the washers from Independent, which where in the package.
Don't want to buy another set of bushings.
Both, bottom and top bushings are slipping out.
Do anybody have recommendations?

For me, Ace trucks always do that when new. I just put them back in place and when they firm up, problem goes away. First two session are really annoying but after that they are good to go.

lately all the indys bushing have been like that for me, so i took a set and left them outside when it was spring (snow, rain, sunshine) and after that they are great.

from personal experience the supercush fit better than the indy aftermarket bushings, but since you said you don't want to get others (which is understandable) you could sand or cut the bushings down slightly which might fix your problem.
hyper non-edit: i remembered i have some blue indy and some green supercush so i very unscientifically eyeballed the size differences. the indy are a barely taller (both the top and bottom) so some quick sanding would work, but they are also a little wider but just slightly. but like i said, without calipers or something more exact i couldn't tell you the specific differences. hth though

Easy fix. Cut out a "donut" from scrap griptape and affix to your bottom washer.

That happened to my colleague the other day, we thought that he tightened too much the bushings of the Venture Lows.
I gave him a brand new set of bushings of a regular ventures (yellow) and he didn't had more problems.

Use flat washers. Gives you better turn as well.

big thanks to all of you.
I sanded the bottom and edges of the bushings a little bit down. It's not perfect yet, but I think when there driven in it should be good. :)

Those new Indy bushing bottom washers in the aftermarket packs are a lot smaller than the older ones, hence people having bushing blowouts, as per the example here.
Rounding off the edges is probably the best option, as you have done.
Just going to add this here too, so if the bushings had both edges rounded, there would be much less of a problem happening.
