First part was fire minus the occasional butchered filming. Cool of them to give the little kids some shine. Any Dre footage is gold. Jon Cos deserves a spot for sure, but I def wasn’t expecting or hoping to hear a Preoccupations song in a Maxallure vid.
The big question though, where was John Perez? Doesn’t appear to be injured based on his ig, so is he off or saving footy for something else?

MA's image is not having a consistent art direction but leaving it up to what the team is hyped on. Pretty smart given their riders and general demographic.

He’s dropped a good amount of footage this year and I think this was to focus on Marcos and Jon which I dig. I’m sure he’s just holding out for another video highlighting him and Dre.

Good shit. Really dug the variety in music choices, all three were great tracks for skating and had distinctly different vibes. More skaters should use preoccupations/Vietcong/women tracks for their parts IMO. Probably gotta dozen of their tracks on my skate playlist.

cool so see a lot of different areas get skated. More Karl and Tafari footy would also have made this better.

Did they make their name to sound like a fancy early 90’s women’s hair care product? That’s the vibe I get from it and I’d have to think that was at least somewhat planned.
Like you could see a Maxallure commercial in the big-shoulder pad era, on right after a Richard Lewis BoKu commercial. That’s what I think they want to make me feel. Is this misguided?

Jon Cos is unreal. East Coast Canada churns out some unbelievably talented guys. He must skate with Bobby K a lot because he does a lot of really similar tricks. Ledge tricks, and manny 180 flip to manny, but the opposite way…

Music and skating were on point but filming on that first part was god awful. Face zoom, shoe zoom, pan the camera wildly all in 1 line.
