yes, i remember reading about it somewhere. if that recs shoe also existed then he had pro shoes on 5 different companies and would be the record holder, even though he only had shoes on c-list shoe companies
dill’s adidas are a samba colorway without the stripes, the vans also were only colorways. if you guys were talking about the adidas/fa experiment shoes then those were just collabs, not pro shoes.
also moses itkonen had a duffs shoe and i believe a dc shoe as well. was the syntax his pro model? i’m not 100% sure about that.

well the one i’m most curious about is if that recs pat duffy existed because if it did then he might be the only skater with pro shoes on 5 different brands. from what i’ve read in interviews all of the og pros on recs got pro shoes but i can’t find any evidence online. also i’d like to know for sure if the syntax was moses itkonen’s shoe or just a team model that he repped. i’m pretty sure about the rest of the stuff i’ve said in this thread.

Dill had a Vans Syndicate shoe with doodles on it, a snakeskin samba on adidas,multiple modified F/A Stan smith all of which I’d consider colorways.
He designed the experiment 1 and 2 for adidas as an FA collab but I don’t know if i would consider it a pro model or just him trying to get into design

What if some skaters had shoes that never reached the market? Like P-Rod with his éS pro model (that became the K5) and Lutzka's shoe on k-swiss.
I'm thinking about it like how P-Rod said he turned pro even though his debut board from city stars never reached the market, but there were a couple produced
With that maybe we can say thar GL had pro shoes on Globe, K-Swiss and DVS.

OK it is gonna take me a bit of time to update the main post... I took away Dill's pro shoe status for VANS because it doesnt seem clear to me
I think I am also going to split the list with a bit of a stipulation to weed out some of this clown stuff. The Shoe company has to have existed for at least 5 years, and also can't be under the same umbrella (i.e. Savier > Nike, Es > Etnies, Circa > Circa Combat) I'll keep all the Pat Duffy's down there.
What really needs to be done is a complete list of every pro model;

that is a pretty massive list... probably should go into a spreadsheet. I might start on it later if i am not busy at work. I know a lot in my head, the main ones that are tricky for me mostly are Nike and Adidas because they do so many colorways and not pro models. the rest I have a fairly good idea who had pro models. Not sure if anyone ever did pro models for Vision Street Wear? that is a bit before my time.

OK it is gonna take me a bit of time to update the main post... I took away Dill's pro shoe status for VANS because it doesnt seem clear to me
I think I am also going to split the list with a bit of a stipulation to weed out some of this clown stuff. The Shoe company has to have existed for at least 5 years, and also can't be under the same umbrella (i.e. Savier > Nike, Es > Etnies, Circa > Circa Combat) I'll keep all the Pat Duffy's down there.
What really needs to be done is a complete list of every pro model;

that is a pretty massive list... probably should go into a spreadsheet. I might start on it later if i am not busy at work. I know a lot in my head, the main ones that are tricky for me mostly are Nike and Adidas because they do so many colorways and not pro models. the rest I have a fairly good idea who had pro models. Not sure if anyone ever did pro models for Vision Street Wear? that is a bit before my time.
vox, adio and airwalk were also around for over 5 years

I'd really count Nike and savier are two seperate things even tho Nike produced the shoes for savier. Nike owns cons you counting them as one company? The first year of fallen was out of dc.

well the one i’m most curious about is if that recs pat duffy existed because if it did then he might be the only skater with pro shoes on 5 different brands. from what i’ve read in interviews all of the og pros on recs got pro shoes but i can’t find any evidence online. also i’d like to know for sure if the syntax was moses itkonen’s shoe or just a team model that he repped. i’m pretty sure about the rest of the stuff i’ve said in this thread.
I don't believe a Recs Pat Duffy shoe existed. To be honest I'm not sure if any Recs pro models were released. I definitely can't confirm it unless I dig through all my old mags. Not sure which other four you're talking about with Pat Duffy, but by my count he's had shoes on three different companies. Pyro, Vox, and Airspeed.
The Syntax was a team model and in no way a Moses Itkonen pro shoe. Moses did have a pro shoe on Duffs in the later years, but that's it.

Berra: airwalk
Lance mountain: Adidas, Nike (looks like he never had a pro model to me...?)
Steve Berra did not have a pro shoe on Airwalk. Steve is sitting at three with Adio, DVS, and DC.
Lance Mountain only had a pro shoe on Adidas. No other companies.
Honestly when this thread started I wanted to hop in and help keep track of what's right and wrong, but this whole thread is a mess of wrong answers and misinformation that it was giving me anxiety ahaha.

I thought that as well but I think it was just a colour way or edition type thing as I searched decently for those when I made my list and couldn't find anything more than a his name on a model that wasn't a pro shoe. And for me if you can't find a picture or an ad of it, you can't count it.

could be that they just released samples of them but this is the fred gall shoe. i also remember seeing a recs adam mcnatt in the made for skate book, but these are the only two that i could find any evidence of them ever existing. yeah macbeth might have been just a colorway, i just remembered that there were macbeth pat duffy shoes in ea skate 2.
thanks for clearing that up with the syntax, i remembered that from a polish skate mag that had an article on the history of skate shoes, but i double checked and they labeled it as an „unofficial pro model” because it was a synthetic dc shoe that moses repped because he was vegan.
