Yeah, I think so. Song wasn’t offensive and it went alright
-
soooooooo good
the ollie at the end. wanna see that not in slow motion
-
Jake has an incredible mixture of looking both completely in control and completely out of control at all times

Great way of putting it. He's so fun to watch. I'll be rewatching this part for sure
-
Tony's switch 360 boneless was ill. As was the Pupecki and the hurricane.
-
last ollie is the most hectic shit i’ve seen in a long time. 10/10

I think this solidifies the Andersons as the most skilled brothers in the game. That was amazing

Great skating, and Jake killed it again.
I love how Jake nailed the big differences between the two skating wise on the Bunt, as it's obvious in retrospect but I didn't realize it at the time. Mike has a way better switch game and Jake has more pop.
-
There it was, my favorite part of the year so far.
Andersons for SOTY.
-
I like him
-
This dude is amazing. Loved his bunt episode too.
Miss the days of double angles let alone triple.
Who does he look like? Feels like a mix of this guy and someone else

That was a great part, btw

Literally runs in the family. Feels like a homage to Mike's floater in one of the recent Krooked edits.
-
wow
this and simon isaksson's part from SSIII have been my favorite parts of the year so far. plus both had feel good jams
insane shit:
-frontside wallride front 180
-180 switch nosegrind on that tiny ledge next to a wall
-that ollie off the tiny bump over a driveway where he clipped the gate(made it even better imo)
-
180 fakie 5-0 on that tall window sill ledge was fucked.
Crazy to see a clip of him in kinda baggie jeans.
-
Really great part. Jake is equally as wild and amazing to watch skate in person.
I normally don’t comment on stuff like this, but his haircut really bums me out ::) lol
-
it's official - that's my new favorite ollie

good memory. there’s something in those anderson genes. at this rate mikes daughter will be everyone’s favorite skater in 10 years
-
incredible part. i know this is considered Slap heresy and i'll probably get kooked for it, but I get a little weary of Mike Anderson's footage because of the extremely heavy focus on bank skating, and I've always associated Jake pretty closely with that... but this was a really good blend of that style with more varied stuff like rails/gaps/etc. too that kept me really engaged the whole time. the two enders and at least 4 or 5 other clips in this made me gasp. gonna pay closer attention to him from now on!

Yup this sums up his style really well. I love how he skates and he's only getting better and better. Definitely one of the lowkey top pros for me.

this part was full of wild yet tasteful bangers all throughout.

Miss the days of double angles let alone triple.

One of my favorites to watch skate. last 2 tricks were insane but the entire part was so good.

Like a less screwdriver-y Chase gabor

Imma say this in the lightest way possible, one of these filmers has a chronic case of excessive zoom and it's sort of annoying.
-
man that was really good

I was thinking about the brothers aspect as well.
Only other duo I can think are the Billups identical twins from Oregon who never "fully" made it but talent level was great during their peak years.
Who else?
Ted and Ben Degros
-
Damn that was good. Dropping 2 vids in a week is smartketing. Alley line at 1:03 is sick. Reminds me of Grant's killer alley line in Constant. Love an alley line. The front crook on the window cutout was sick too. Ender obviously needed a full wide angle.

He had the best tricks in the Nike Gnarhunters trip vid that dropped Monday.

So did he try to bonk the ollie? It's obviously slow mo but it still seems like he maybe could/should have gone faster if he wanted to clear it without bonking? Gonna rewatch this one a few times for sure

He's the uglier brother.

Dude a couple of the tricks were kind of ruined by this. That one treflip over off a curb and over a two stair? I think? There was another right around the former that made me sad haha.
Other wise, this part has heavy rewatch value. Love both the bros!!!

I assumed that was an accidental bonk based on how shitty the filming was. No less impressive to stick it though.
-
The 1st kickflip then that ollie. How the fuck do you look at that Ollie 🤷🏻♂️

The Billups ruled. Don’t forget the Luna twins! Switch 360 kickflips 10 years before I even heard Shane O’Neills name.
-
Rad part. Anderson bros rule.
Hate when they ruin tricks in the thumbnail on YouTube though.
-
I'm a fan <3

the bump in the last clip doesn't even look like a bump. i suppose same with the windowsill 180 fakie 5-0, insane. favorite part of his so far

The Wray and Carroll brothers. Although, those are cases where one of them dramatically outshone the other.
The most obvious one though is the McBride brothers of two brothers who both became fairly big names and provided great footage.

must be his welcome to nike part with all those swoosh zoom-ins.

Alley oop bs flip was fucked. Great part

You honestly have to be fucking kidding. I bet you were one of the guys who thought TFunk ollied out of the bank to ride on the bench for his thrasher cover.
This was less of an Ollie and more of a massive wallie off a tiny curb with the slightest bit of transition up to it. Plus that fence was like over a full car lengths away
-
If it says Anderson on it, you know its gonna be good
-
Bonkers.

edit.
Really liked Jakes part too.
That bs flip between the stairs in the alley was beautiful, and filmed so nice!
-
Amazing, never seen anyone so out of control, yet in control at the same time. I think some of this footage is kind of old too, so am interested to see what else he has coming out.
-
that was really good. hearing that curren is working on a part makes me hope that skate mental is putting out parts from all the “new” guys. we all need a new durao part this year.
-

you get it man tfunk should have jammed onto the bench >:( he ollied after the bench started too
-
that was absolutely bonkers, last tricks were all enders.
/sign to all the in and out of control remarks. I think thats it what makes his skating great
-
Was that a sneaky impossible late flip at 3:19?
Jake’s the best. Stoked to see the footage of that backside flip over the stairs on the crusty bank spot - Sherbert’s photo was sick.
-
The Anderson brothers are absolutely wonderful skaters. I get so excited when I see there's a new part from either one. I really enjoyed this part, but I think his Former part had a bit more of a wow factor.
-
Imma say this in the lightest way possible, one of these filmers has a chronic case of excessive zoom and it's sort of annoying.
Yeah I don't get the whole....let's only film the board when the skater lands tricks kinda thing. I can see doing it for a few tricks...but so many filmers now try and do the Strobeck thing and it sucks. I want to see the entire skaters body when they do tricks.
Maybe I'm old and just don't get it.
-

it is. he's riding hockey boards at various parts in this. thought it was a supreme sticker at first which would never make sense.
-
loved this part, like kinda really hit for me.
-
Loved the part and am constantly surprised Skate Mental has a low key super team when I have never seen a single person ride one.
-
This part was fantastic.
Maybe my greys are showing, but don’t forget the Albas in the great skate brothers conversation.

yes, noticed it the most on the fs blunt flip out, which was more or less ruined by filming imho
-
stop putting the ender as the goddamn thumbnail!
anyways. lotta hockey boards in here, i wonder if they were just louie boards, or if he was ever going to get on before skate mental?
him and manderson are fer sure the best brothers in skating. sorry mcclungs, you're outmatched
-
He was originally going to ride for Austyn's brand under the FA banner so they probably got boards that way.
-
some more bros people forgot:
Godoys
Decenzos
McClungs
Capaldis
Ostranders

I guess I'm late to the party cause this is the first time i watch any of his footage but damn it did not disappoint. That opening trick off the brick bank was fucking bananas!

This guy's lack of a chin and the way he wears his hair has me thinking he must be from privilege.
-
That was gnarly. Last trick is fucked.
-
I love you Jake :-*
-
there was some serious slams in that rough cut.
-
Based on the fact he’s still wearing hufs in certain clips he was working on this for nearly 4 years. He needs to up the output .
-
This dudes skating is seriously incredible. The rough cut made me sweaty.
-
I love parts where every trick is pushed to it's absolute limit, Jake is a tank and clearly works for his clips, the rail to rail was almost hard to watch. He could probably just chill and go A.V.E at this point and still be at the top of the game

Anyone with a good Levi’s eye know what style they are at 15:40?
18:06 - is that the plastic covering of a brand new tattoo on his arm?

Pretty much every clip in that part was fucked! So good! Some of those spots weren’t even spots, like the windowsill fs180 fakie 5-0, I would never even consider that thing a spot. Good shit all around!

This comment is even more valuable watching the rough cut.
There are multiple clips of him just eating shit pushing to the trick while completely out of balance like he just cannot fucking WAIT to do his job.

the rough cut really won me over on him, love seeing that persistence and determination.
