All time top 5.
Love those guys.
Do they ever tour?
I’ve never seen them listed as such…

they are incredible, absolutely love their music

love that they always experiment with something in one way or another in their art as well as the fact that they are brothers

https://youtu.be/wxPLzms6Coc

for example, for this song: (quoted from the site bocpages.org: https://bocpages.org/wiki/The_Devil_Is_In_The_Details (https://bocpages.org/wiki/The_Devil_Is_In_The_Details))

"The bassline and melody of The Devil Is In The Details are an octave and a major sixth apart. The bassline/melody repeats the first note three times, yielding three consecutive "sixths" in a row, i.e. 6-6-6. Furthermore, the bassline and melody are approximately 1.618 seconds apart - the golden ratio."

the album which this song is taken from, geogaddi, is also 60:06 minutes long

hopefully they come out with a new album soon!

Always loved Tycho, the Dive/Awake/Epoch era was when I first got into em and A Walk is still maybe one of my favorite songs all time. Got to catch them play all of Dive this summer too and was a sick show.

BOC is also really cool, very unique in many ways. I actually got into them because another band I like covers ROYGBIV.

yes these two albums are great. it's crazy cause i don't think they were ever supposed to be public, i believe a friend leaked them or something along those lines.

BOC is easily in my top 5 artists of all time. They were a fundamental part of my childhood listening activities and shaped my music tastes forever.

dawn chorus is so fucking good. i've played it around my friends and they think it's funny cause it sounds like women moaning but in reality it's samples of kids saying "bye" from sesame street lmao

I can’t believe nobody has mentioned this one yet
https://youtu.be/yAWX_KVecq8

And a non-BOC rec that is different but I think relatable for any BOC fan

EDIT:
This group/song is rad too, couldn’t find a link to the full album tho

Twoism bangs out fa sho.

If "A Few Old Tunes" were leaked, I'd be surprised because they are structured like mixtapes.

This exact video was my introduction to BOC:

https://youtu.be/dQEmaj9C6ko

And it was on from there. Many a work project has gotten finished to BOC.

I also like Tycho, but feel like Tycho is a bit more polished and mainstream and a little less esoteric than BOC, which for me gives the edge to BOC.  I jam this tune out by Tycho a lot:

https://youtu.be/Q622Zk7VQU8

Whoever produced this song for Dej Loaf did a great job sampling Tycho:
